The next morning I wake up with more then just a headache. It was like two earthquakes have played around in my head afterwards to decide to leave it all a mess in there.
Slowly I sit up rubbing my temples. "AAH! GOD! MOTHER OF-"
"Her son." Someone fills in before I say something else.
Still gripping my head I look around me to see A sitting opposite of me in my house. One of my dog's lies on her lap while the others spread around her feet on the ground.
What is this? Daddy and his minions came to tell me what I shouldn't have done? It looks like I'm about to get the talk!
I sigh. "Yeah yeah, I know don't even start."
She pets my dog on the back like an evil character from Disney. "Are you sure I shouldn't start. I mean, I never heard about a certain Xander young lady."
I look at her groggily. "Don't call me young lady we part way too less in age for you to call me that and hear who says it old lady."
She diverts her eyes and stops patting my dog knowing exactly what I was talking about. I smile evilly.
"I might have been completely waisted from a small bit of alcohol but I still remember that one scene in the garden yesterday, remember? Let me refresh your memory, it was with you and Kai and if I'm right the two of you were totally completely making ou-"
A rushes off the chair and covers my mouth with her hands.
"Don't you dare finish that sentence." We stare at each other for a second and then burst into laughter at the same time.
You see that's the kind of friends we are. People often mistake us for weirdo's. Well, we probably are weirdo's to be honest. But isn't it way better to be a weirdo together then alone?
"Get up! We gotta work today." A says shoving a glass of water and an aspirin towards me.
"Work?" I look at her while she walks towards the door to get our coats.
"Yeah, you know. In that cafe we work at." She smiles evily.
Then I remember that yesterday was my day off, on which I got shamefully drunk, and today was just another work day for the both of us.
I get up fast, a little too fast for my head even, and take the water and aspirin. Then I remember the fact that I had dog's who wanted food never the less me who wanted food.
"Don't worry, I already took care of them." A said throwing me my coat.
"Thanks." She moves out the door taking my bag and her own with her.
"wow wow wait! What about my food!" I call after her while I put my coat on.
"You ate enough for a week." She said walking down the stairs already. "So much that you pucked. Digested liver. Of a duck. ON ME." I hear her sarcastic madness.
Suddenly an image of me throwing up flashes by.
I did bloody throw up?! On her.... ow well, worth the laugh when I don't feel so shitty anymore.
Then I remember seeing the pants she whore. She had taken a pair of mine.
"Aaah! Come on! Don't be so hard on your pained twin!" I jell at her whining while I follow fast closing the door behind me as we're off to work.
After what seemed to me like a week stashed in a single work day it was finally over. Luckily the boss was pretty understanding when I explained I ate duck so that was why I had to throw up again.
He had eaten it himself too he said. A and I had been jocking about it when suddenly one of the chef's thought it to be a good idea to tell us precisely how that all happens and how to prepare it.
Thank you chef. You deserve the fucked up most annoying literally making me throw up price of the year! Congratulations!
A and I cleaned the last tables after we had send Mark home already. Everybody was gone now apart from us. Boss had given us the key's to lock the door so we could close before we left for home.
We take off our aprons and pick up our bags and coats. "I am sooo tired. The whole tornado thing in my head is gone. Bad side of it is that I start to remember that I slept on Xander's chest in the car." I whine to A.
She laughs at me while she pats me on the back. "Yes you did. You even complained he wasn't soft enough."
"I did didn't I?" Next time I see him I will die of shame.
Even better, I will dig a whole in the ground, start a life with moles, make sure I become one of their trusted ones and within a year we will have taken over the planet!..... maybe I wasn't completely rid of the alcohol in my system yet....
We put off the lights and are about to leave the place when the doors open letting in the street light for a second.
Suddenly two boys rush into the restaurant as if they are being chased by wild animals. One of them shuts the door as the other dives behind the bar.
"Hyung!" the one yells that's standing in front of the door looking around. He moves his hand through his light blond hair. "Hyung you're not funny. Did someone kidnap you just now?"
The other guy stands up from behind the bar. "Yah hide your ass Hyuk."
"But where?!" this guy Hyuk says while looking around not noticing us. He looks at the other guy, whom he calls hyung, without moving a muscle.
"Don't keep standing there, get here. Ohh ottokaji!" The one behind the bar says.
A and I look at this scene playing out before us with our mouths open like two fishes. I raise my hand slightly like I'm asking permission to talk.
That seemed to have raised their attention and now both guys look at A and me standing in a corner like two dumb Barbie dolls.
"Ow." The one at the door said pulling his hoody further over his face. The other one does the same looking away from us.
They act like we're freaking making out before them or something! They're the ones barging in here!
Before either of us can say a word we hear loud shouts and screams from outside. It sounded like a horde of girls. Vaguely we can see the shadows of the group move by the cafe through the window.
As they do the one hyung dives back down behind the counter and the other called Hyuk slides down against the door till he sits on the ground underneath the windows. Are they hiding for them?
This has to be the weirdest week I have ever had in my life....
