Fundraising

Maya
I wondered where Lucas and Riley went. I went to school early to work on some homework... and guess what I found!? I found Riley and Lucas sleeping in the library. They look so cute together. I banged on the door for them to wake up.

Riley
I heard a banging noise. I woke up and looked in the glass window in front of the library and noticed it was Maya. I woke Lucas up.

"Lucas! Wake up!" I said nudging him.
"What? What's going on?" He said waking up.
"Maya is here! She can probably save us." I said walking to the door.
I walked to the door and tried to open the handle, but it wouldn't budge.

"MAYA, DO YOU THINK YOU CAN OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE?" I said yelling to her.
"LET ME SEE." She said turning the handle.
Yes!! The door finally flew open.

"OMG!! THANKS SO MUCH MAYA!! BUT DON'T LET THE DOOR CLOSE!! Or we'll get stuck in here till school starts." I said.
"I will, but what exactly happened here?" She said in a suspicious tone.
"Lucas and I were working on our project till 6:00 pm, but we didn't know it was 6:00. I tried the handle, but it was locked." I said.
"Wow, this never happened to anyone before." Maya said laughing at us.
"Plus, we don't even have our cell phones to call you or my parents" I said.

All three of us were silent, until then my dad came into the library.
"What happened here?" Dad said.
"Long story dad." I said tugging him.
"Why is Lucas here?" He said giving me a surprised look.
"Riley and Lucas stayed at my house for the night and I returned them back here, so they can work some more on the project. Maya said butting in.
"I see." My dad said calming down.
"Can you take me and Lucas home, so we can change?" I said.
"Sure honey." He said.

I said goodbye to Maya and mouthed thank you to her as I walked out of the library. I wanted to sit in the back, but my dad made me sit in the front with him. All three of us were silent throughout the trip.

We finally arrived at Lucas's house.

"Thank you Mr. Matthews, but do you mind picking me up for school? My mom is at work already." He said through my passenger window.
"Sure Mr. friar. You can sit in the backseat." He said smiling.
"Thank you sir. And I'll see you when you get here." He said smiling at me.
"See you soon." I said waving goodbye.

Dad and I arrived at our house. I got upstairs and took a shower. After my shower I put on my skinny jeans, t-shirt with my hoodie and black leather boots on. After I finished putting on my outfit, I brushed my teeth, so my breathe didn't smell. Dad and I went back into the car and arrived at Lucas's home. Luckily for us, his house was not that far away from us.

Lucas came out of his house and looked very hot. He was wearing jeans, grey v-neck with his black denim jacket on. He even smelled nice.

We arrived to school and was not late. I was glade I wasn't late. If I was late, I would've gotten a JUG. if you get a JUG you would either have to help clean the lunchroom or come after school and empty out water bottles and put them in plastic bins. Anyways, we went to my dad's World History class and started.
"So class, I got some good news and bad news." The teacher said.
Everyone jumped up into their seats and were ready to hear some news.
"What do you want to hear? Good or bad?" He asked us.
"Good!" The class said in unison.
"Okay, the good news is we're going to Paris!!!!!" He said happily.

We all cheered about that news, until then he told us the bad news.

"The bad news though is...we need to find a way to get some money." He said giving us a sad look.
"What if we sell cookies+plus do a car wash, and much more. Like fundraising." I said.
"Great idea Riley!" He said patting my back.
"Okay, guys. I will be partnering you guys up...again, but you'll be in groups of four and I will tell you your job."He said grabbing the clipboard.
