The next two or three days went by in a blur. The case they were assigned was about a sexual sadist who killed prostitutes. The team closed it in almost a day of being in New Hampshire. The days following were mostly filled with paperwork and finishing touches to the case. Giselle hadn't interacted much with Spencer over those few days, but when she did, she felt much more comfortable around him than she did before. And she even found herself eating small to medium portions around him now- which was something she had never done around him before. He made her feel comfortable and safe in her own body. He started to remind her who she was again.

But as much as Giselle wanted to linger in this feeling, she couldn't shake the questioning glances and the strange looks she was getting from her coworkers. They knew something was up- and she didn't like that. But she was working on a team full of profilers after all, so she should have known that they would have figured it all out eventually.

Still- Giselle didn't like the idea of her coworkers being in her business. Especially when she didn't even know what that was herself.

It was Friday evening, and the team had just wrapped up their paperwork on the New Hampshire case. It was around 7:30, and they had all been at the office since 7 that morning. Giselle was feeling quite tired, so she was about ready to head home. However, before she could step out the door, Garcia grabbed her arm.

"Giselle! The team is going out to a bar to celebrate wrapping this case. Do you want to come?"

Giselle wanted to decline. She really did. But as she looked over to the corner of the bullpen to see Emily, JJ, Morgan, Hotch, Rossi, and Spencer all standing together waiting for her to join, she felt a pang of guilt hit her chest. She knew that Spencer would be alone at the bar, and she didn't want to leave him hanging. Especially since he had taken care of her a few nights ago.

"I mean... parties aren't really my thing..."

Giselle scratched her neck.

"But... okay."

Garcia squealed with excitement, and so did Emily and JJ. Morgan simply smiled with charisma, and Rossi let out a little chuckle.

"Atta girl."

He spoke, pointing a finger at Giselle, which made her laugh. This also made her look over to Spencer, who was clearly happy to hear that he wouldn't be a loner at the team outing. And with that, Giselle knew that she wouldn't be one either. But before Giselle could walk over to Spencer to speak with him, Garcia grabbed her arm again.

"We are all going to go home and freshen up a bit before we go out. I will pick you up at 9:00. Capisce?"

To this Giselle simply nodded and began to head out.

Now she knew she would have to look good.

-------------------

"Damn it!"

Giselle groaned and threw herself on her bed in utter frustration as she tore off the seventh dress she had tried on this evening. None of them looked good on her. Either her stomach was too highlighted, her scars were too visible, her ribcage was too wide, or her legs were too stubby. Giselle was nearly on the verge of tears- she was so angry at herself. But before she could completely break down, she felt her phone buzz.

It was Spence.

"Hey.."

She picked up the phone with a shaky tone.

"Gi- whats wrong? You sound upset."

"I- uh..."

She was going to sound so stupid.
