{TW: This chapter has mention of sexual assault and drug/alcohol abuse.}

On the morning after her night with Spencer, Giselle was rudely awakened by the sound of her phone buzzing on her nightstand. In frustration and haziness, Giselle rolled over with a loud groan and picked up the phone, rubbing her eyes to see clearly.

"Hernandez."

"Good morning, sleepy head!"

Giselle felt Garcia's chirpy voice ping around on the inside of her head. Apparently she couldn't hold her alcohol that well.

"What's going on..?"

Giselle yawned and rubbed her forehead, feeling pain shoot from her temples medially.

"We have a case. I know you're hungover- but trust me, we all are. So get in here."

"You don't sound hungover."

Garcia laughed, which made Giselle's throbbing headache only worse.

"That's because I'm a goddess. Deuces!"

Before Giselle could even respond, Garcia had hung up the phone. And just as Giselle was about to get out of bed and start getting ready for work, she was greeted by a hand tapping on her shoulder. She jumped in surprise, only to turn around and see that it was just Spencer.

"Hey."

He spoke, his voice groggy with sleep. His brunette, wavy hair was ruffled messily, a few stray pieces coming down to frame his face. The sunlight streamed through Giselle's curtains, highlighting his light stubble and his glowing skin. As Giselle looked at sleepy Spencer, she felt a strange feeling in her stomach- but she couldn't put a finger on what exactly it was. She felt like she was going to... vomit. Maybe she was just that hungover.

"Hey."

"How are you feeling?"

Spencer blinked away his morning vision before sitting up straight, propping himself up on his elbow. Giselle noticed that he changed into some sweatpants and a sweatshirt overnight. The grey sweatpants were baggy, let they showed off his long and toned legs nicely. The sweatshirt was a simple navy blue Ralph Lauren hoodie that looked quite comfy.

"I could be better."

Giselle said, sitting up and tucking her messy hair behind her ears.

"That's not really a surprise."

Spencer chuckled.

"You were... out of it last night."

Giselle squeezed her eyes shut and cringed.

"Yikes... was I really that bad?"

Spencer shook his head, maintaining a smile.

"You weren't that bad. I've seen worse."

Giselle peeked open her eyes to look at him.

"T-thank you for staying last night. That was really kind of you- you didn't have to do that."

Spencer gave a big lipped smile.

"Really- it's no problem. I felt safer knowing that you were okay."

Giselle found herself wanting to stay in that moment forever- to live in this bed with Spencer for the rest of eternity. But why? He had only taken care of her, and now she was thinking about cuddling up with him and being with him for the rest of her life? Maybe the alcohol was still in her system.
