Although Giselle Hernandez was drunk out of her mind, she could still tell that Spencer was used to taking care of people. Her intoxicated mind couldn't decipher how she felt about this as the lanky man drove her back to her house, but she didn't want or need to think about that. All she knew is that she was grateful. And embarrassed.

"Im ssorry..."

Giselle slurred as she laid in the backseat with legs curled up to her stomach.

"You have taken-"

Her words were interrupted by a hiccup.

"You have taken care of me twice while... ya know..."

Giselle tried not to vomit again.

"I... I don't usually drink like this... and when I do, it doesn't..."

Giselle covered her face with her hands.

"It doesn't affect me like this. I can usually hold my liquor..."

Spencer didn't really react to Giselle. He stayed calm and continued to drive.

"It's because you don't eat enough, Giselle."

Spencer choked on air as he realized what he said.

"I-I mean- it's not your fault or anything- I just wanted to give reasoning-:

Giselle didn't really register what he said in the first place, so she had no problem brushing it aside. Everything felt... fuzzy... bright... and spinny...

"You're allllll good."

Giselle groaned as she clenched her stomach with her hands.

"Its okay. We're almost there. You're going to be okay..."

Spencer reassured her as he kept driving. The way he cared about her... it seemed to good to be true. He had taken care of her drunk, stupid self twice now- no questions asked. But why?

"Spencer?"

"Mhm?"

"Why are you doing this?"

Giselle asked, not feeling the voices hold her back from speaking.

"What do you mean?"

"Taking care of me. I've been nothing but closed off and mean to you-"

"You haven't been mean, Giselle."

Spencer said, his voice raising in pitch.

"Sure, you've been closed off, but that's nothing I can't handle. You have a right to be closed-off, especially considering where you've worked before..."

Spencer pulled into Giselle's driveway.

"There are things I haven't told you yet either."

Giselle turned to him.

"Really?"

She sat up, feeling pain shoot straight to her head.

"Yeah.."

Spencer got out of the car and walked to Giselle's door, opening it and helping her out of the car. He wrapped his long arm around her waist, keeping her steady. Giselle took her shoes off in the car, so she carried them in her right hand as she began to walk to her front door. It was at that moment that Giselle realized the height difference between her and Spencer. Giselle was never considered to be tall- she was usually the shortest one in her workplace. But she didn't realize how tall Spencer really was until he had to lean down to steady her walking.
