The next morning I'm drinking my morning cup of steamy hot coffee as my cell rings and lucky me it's my crush Cody one of my surf buddies and my best friend who keep in mind I grew up with. This is gonna be a super weird day. Cody on phone - hey Ashley do you wanna catch some waves today I can totally protect you from sharks . Ashley - hey . I have to check my calendar and see if I'm free today . I pretend I've got a Calendar in front of me oh would you look at that I can't go surfing today and mom says there's way too many shark attacks in cape cod right now I know we don't live there but it's still a scary thing that's been happening. Cody - you're adorable worrying about ya feet and ya Hands getting chopped off but fine we can just hang out on the beach like we did last time . Ashley- sounds like a plan Cody I'll see you soon . Cody - cool I'll come pick you up ash see you soon bye bye he hung up on me . I didn't have the heart to open up my mouth and say hey can we talk about something I'm sorry but Andrew and I last night we kissed ! I grabbed my beach bag  and head out the door 🚪. I waited for Cody's car to pull into my driveway and come get me . I get a text message from Sarah- hey what are you doing today? Anything fun ? Ashley text her - I'm relaxing at the beach want to uh join Cody and I because I've got some news to tell you guys . Sarah - does my brother know that you've got news to tell us ? It definitely doesn't sound like good news at all . Ashley text her - yeah it is kinda bad news .l don't want to hurt Cody but I feel like it's just eating me up not saying anything about it . Sarah text me- okay well I guess I'll see you at the beach then and you can tell me this bad news girlie . Bye . Honk . My ride is here . Time to go I'm so freakin nervous and I can't breathe is this what a pain attack is or is something else?! Cody - hop in ash . I get in his car and away to beach we drove . I am freakin out ! Cody - are you okay? You haven't been saying much and we're almost to the beach ash . Ashley- I'll be fine it's uh just ...I've got secrets that I'd love to bottle up and keep but I can't . Cody - why can't you just bottle it up and toss it into the deep waters of the ocean ash he asked me looking worried about me . Ashley laughed - it's a lot harder than you think I'll tell you at the beach Because Sarah's gonna tag along to ! .

Cody looks over at me- why can't you just tell me what's going on right now? Is it really that big of deal ash ? You're starting to scare the living crap out of me . And don't tell me that this has something to do with you're ex douche bag boyfriend because I could give two shits about him . Basically Cody went on a rant to me and I cut him off saying - hey Cody relax I said you're gonna have to wait till we meet up with Sarah at the beach just don't worry about it and drive . I sigh . Cody - okay ash . We drove for a few minutes and then parked at the beach 🏖. Cody and I met up with Sarah on the beach and the waves were really big and loud today . I was super nervous to tell both of them about the kiss I had with my ex boyfriend who they both hate . Sarah - hey what's this bad news ! She says running up to us as we walked over to her . Cody - bad news I'm confused now ash what's she talking about? Ashley- okay both of you should just take a seat right now Cody and her listen and take a seat on Sarah's beach towel. Cody - okay what's up ? Tell us . I'm getting very inpatient. Sarah - are you good ash ? You're really scaring me here . Ashley- un Andrew and I kissed last night. Cody and Sarah at the same time- what !!!!! .

Ashley- look it just happened last night guys I wasn't excepting to kiss him it just idk it just happened. I'm sorry I know you guys don't like him and I'm sorry I kept it secret.

Cody gets up to leave - I've got to go home I'm sorry Ashley but I can't even look at ya right now. I appreciate you being honest with us especially me but I need time to get over it . I really like ya I thought you wouldn't do something like fall for Andrew again .

Sarah - yeah I'm going home to I'm very disappointed with you Ashley . Ya broke my brothers heart so have fun with getting a ride back home bye let's go home brother .
