When I met up with Cody at the beach 🏖 I was freaking out knowing I completely rushed being in a relationship with one of my best friends after dating somebody for 4 years probably wasn't a smart move . I felt like a jerk honestly. Cody can do way better then me . Cody - hey you wanted to talk ? What's going on babe you're scaring me he sits down next to me in the sand . Ashley sighs - I've just been thinking about a lot of stuff lately and one thing is about our relationship. Cody - okay what's wrong ? Did I do something to upset you or anything? Ashley - no you're perfect and I'm just not I'm like a mess and I gotta figure things out on my own ...I uh kinda rushed into a relationship I feel like we have vibes more like bffs . Cody - well clearly I was blind because I thought you liked me back . Ashley- I did I wouldn't lie to you about my feelings but things just kinda changed and it's got nothing to do with my ex at all like I'm breaking up with you but I'm not breaking up with you for my ex . Does what I'm saying make any sense to u ? I asked him . He sighs - yeah I guess it sucks you're feeling this way honestly ash . I don't mind just being friends with you ...we did kinda rush things not even gonna lie . I just didn't wanna hurt you're feelings. Ashley hugs him - I'm always gonna be here for ya as ya friend. Cody - same here ash if you need anything just say the word and I'll be there . Ashley - I definitely will like when I need chocolate because I'm suffering In bad stomach pains due to girl problems. I laughed . Cody laughed - Hershey's you got it !!! .

I smiled at Cody then rested my head on his shoulders a few tears fell down my face . I was officially broken...what's wrong with me? I can't keep hurting people who actually care about me . I'm honestly not myself anymore ....Cody's such a good boyfriend was breaking up a good idea though ? I'm sitting here re thinking things over . This is just upsetting that I officially can't handle a relationship. I've got trust issues that's a fact ! I don't know what I'm doing with my life yet but I've gotta figure it out . Hope he gets it . I hate hurting him but I have to get over Andrew to be in a new relationship it's over !!!

Cody sighs - ash don't cry just let me ask ya a question and be honest with me about it .

Ashley glares up at him tears in her eyes still - what ? Cody - are you still in love with him ? That's why you're breaking up with me right or am I wrong? Ashley - okay I'm saying I'm over him but only half over him there's a part of me that will always love him because we've been dating for so long and we have a daughter together so it makes it so hard on me ...that's why I'm breaking up with ya. Maybe in the future we can date but I don't think I'm ready like I thought I was for a new relationship but you're perfect Cody and I hope ya know that I love you Just as a best friend tho . Cody hugs me - I love you . I get up and brush the sand off my legs - we can still surf together. Cody - definitely ash just name the place and the time and I'll be there for our date . I kick sand on him - shut up ! Cody gets up and he chases me - get back here right now ya did not just do that !!!!!

After breaking up with Cody on the beach my phones blowing up by Sarah . It's time to face the freaking music 🎶. Sarah is Cody's sister by the way case ya guys have forgot. I had just broke up with him and I had no clue how she was going to handle the news !!!!

Sarah came to the beach we're Cody and i we're having fun at . Even tho we just broke up it wasn't awkward at all as we're both splashing each other in the ocean jumping in the waves . Sarah stands at the edge of the ocean dips her feet in - why hello lovebirds. I got a very serious text what's up ? We run out of the ocean it's time to face the music 🎶 I am nervous not going to lie . Ashley - Cody you tell her she's you're sister after all bro . Sarah raises a eyebrow- did she just call you bro ? Cody - yeah we broke up. We're cool though . Sarah - who broke up with who tho ? She looks super pissed . Ashley - uh well I broke up with him because I might still be getting over Andrew s tiny bit but I'm not ... I get cut off by her - you're not gonna ditch my brother for your crappy ex boyfriend ash ! Have ya lost ya dam mind or something! Ashley - I'm not getting back together with my ex boyfriend chill out ! Sarah - come on Cody it's dinner time back at home I'll drive ya . Cody - I got my car actually sis go I'll meet you there . Sarah - okay bye bro bye bitch . I was expecting her to be hurt and upset at me . Cody - ignore her . Ashley - thanks Cody I'll see ya around . Cody kisses my cheek- you definitely will bye ash see you around . I watch him leave the beach . I decided to go to Starbucks and grab a drink before coming home and when I went home 🏡 I wasn't excepting to see joe at my front door step on no he looked sad . I knew he also was going through a break up just like me right now. I wasn't planning on kicking him out of my driveway. Hey I said getting out of my car I still have tears in my eyes as I walked up to him . Joe - hey how have you been doing ? .

Ashley - I've honestly been way better what have you been up to ? I saw you at the beach yesterday yelling at ya girl is everything good with you two ? I asked him . I walk in the house . Come in . He nods and follows me - I've been way better to honestly no we uh we broke up idk why I came here to let ya know or something Idk I'm stupid ash I'm sorry maybe I should just go . Ashley - well Cody and I broke up two minutes ago on the beach . I'm free to hang out if you wanna we can Netflix and chill with popcorn joe I add and he smiled at me- yeah we can do that . Ashley - okay I'll set the tv up come on in bro he says - I'll go make the popcorn since you burn it every dam time ya try to make it in the oven . Zoeys been blowing up my phone he says as he's walking into the kitchen to make the popcorn 🍿. Ashley - that kinda sucks I'm sure it doesn't help ya feel better. I turned on the tv and pick a Netflix show to watch . Joe - nah I just blocked her number. Ashley laughs - that's a great idea I'd do the same thing if Cody wouldn't give me my space . Joe Laughs - welcome to my life ash . Ashley - you're too attractive joe girls fall at you're toes all the time. Joe - shut up don't start with me little miss I have a new bf every day of the week . Ashley - I hope that you burn ya popcorn and ya spill your beer . Joe - you're so mean to me all the time can't you be nice for once he fake wines at me . I burst into laughter this is why I need my best friends when I'm going through a break up they make me laugh till I can no longer feel my lungs. For the rest of the night joe and I hung out and savanna spent the night at her boyfriends. Joe went home round 8 and Cody came over and hung out with me we played vid games all night long it's hard not to try and kiss him . Just because we broke up doesn't mean we hate each other we still are gonna hang out . He even spent the night . Bffs 👯‍♀️ 4 life . In the future I will have a boyfriend guys I'm definitely not ready right now. I'm becoming a pro surfer . I have to just be focused on that . Sarah was still not speaking to me . Cody told me . I get it but how long would she keep this up for ? I mean it's not like Cody and I are on bad terms . Sarah text me- hey is Cody with you? I text her - yes he spent the night why ya asking ? Sarah - wait I'm confused but you dumped him . Ashley text her - but we're cool and didn't end on bad terms so why's it matter if he crashed on my bed last night? Oh snap ! I'm a savage lol 😂. Sarah text me- whatever I know you two will end up in the long run together hooking up so both of you lovebirds meet me at the beach let's go chop,chop we're going to be watching the sun set rise it's gonna be awesome guys !!!!!! .

Cody wakes up and yawns - hey what's going on? Who's texting you ? He asked .

Ashley - you're sister is she wants to go surfing so let's get dressed and go I guess.

Cody gets out of bed - don't you look cute in the morning time he winked at me.

Ashley blushing Red - shut up get dressed and let's grab our surf boards Cody .

End of this chapter. Things are looking good so far Andrew and ash are not getting back together. And Cody's hitting on ash even tho she broke up with him . Now their going to go surfing together while the Hawaii sun set rises up and it's officially the morning!!!!!!!
