Chapter 23................

When I woke up the next day I couldn't really think straight . I walked into the kitchen and grab a green mountain k cup dressed up today in my jean shorts and t shirt my dad had got me from Florida. I then put the k cup into the machine but forgot to add water . I turn on the Keurig machine and I'm trying to get it to brew the water in it and all the sudden it's not working. My boyfriend wakes up now I guess I woke him up with my loud shoes . Good morning he says do you need any help with that ? He asks me with a grin across his face . Yeah I don't know what's wrong with this dam thing it's not letting me brew the water for some reason I say . Cody laughs - babe there's no water in it put water in it . Ashley blushes like crazy . How embarrassing for me . Oh I said looking at it a bit more . Then I grab a cup and some water and dump the water into it till it's filled to the top . Then I brew the coffee into the mug I wanna use as I'm super embarrassed. Should I tell my boyfriend about the nightmare I had last night or keep it a big secret? . I definitely feel like I should tell him . Especially before jack and savanna wake up the last thing my daughter needs to hear is I'm dreaming about her dad and we're not a couple anymore. Weird . Just freaking weird . Are ya okay ? You're starting to sweat . Cody says to me . Ashley - I'm just not awake yet . Cody - okay are you sure you're okay and that's the only reason? Ashley - uh well I had a bit of a weird dream . Cody - was it about me ? Ashley - no it was actually more of a nightmare about my ex boyfriend . Lol his face when I tell him . Cody - what kind of a nightmare? Ashley - a wedding kind of a nightmare. Cody asked me- we're you guys getting married in this certain nightmare? I doubt it was even a nightmare if you're dreaming about him like that . He snapped at me clearly he's upset . Ashley - everybody has dreams and nightmares it's normal. I'm not sure if I should've said it's normal out loud to Cody because now he's definitely not in a good mood . Cody - I understand. That's all he said before going to take a warm hot shower 🚿. I just sigh and make my coffee leaving him alone and giving him space to get over This instead of fighting with him about it was a way better choice especially if savanna and her boyfriend are upstairs sleeping in . I sat down at the kitchen table and go on my phone texting Sarah - I think you're brother Is gonna breakup with me . I did something bad and he's not happy about it and it was outta my control completely!!!!!! .

Sarah texting me back - girl calm down what's this bad thing you did that was outta you're control ? If you cheated on my brother with joe or Andrew I swear to god ash !

Ashley texting bff back - no! No ! No ! I definitely didn't cheat on him at least I don't think a dream about weddings with a certain ex boyfriend of mine is called cheating .

Sarah texts me - ash what in the hell are you talking about? Wedding dreams ?! What ex boyfriend would this wedding dream be about ? Please don't say Andrew I'll vomit on u

Ashley text her bff back - it was about Andrew I'm sorry it was outta my control Sarah I was sleeping and next thing I knew I woke up covered in sweat and Cody asked me if I was okay and I just wasn't ...I couldn't even make a simple cup of hot coffee when I woke up and according to Cody I was covered in sweat and I still am I need a shower.

Sarah text me back - I understand a dream about ya ex boyfriend Is outta you're control but let me just ask you this question.. do ya regret getting back together with Cody yes or no ? And another question...do you still have feelings for Andrew we don't know about or was it just a bad dream that was all in you're head and you're completely over him . Because it didn't seem that way when he left for Afghanistan a few weeks ago ash.

Ashley text her bff back- I definitely don't regret dating Cody and getting back together with him . And it's a stupid dream but it's making me feel weird ..who's next joe ? Like I have no idea how I feel about him anymore. I just gotta figure out if I like or hate him .

Sarah texting me back - maybe you and him should make plans to hang out and talk with Cody about it so he understands that you might just need some good closure!!!

Ashley text bff back - that's not really a bad idea . I've been ignoring him tho . Well I guess I can't ignore him forever we have a daughter together after all . It's time to grow up...it's time to face my fears I've had and it's time to face him whenever he's back !!!!!

Sarah text me back - yeah i definitely agree it's good to get you're issues with a person out in the open and then tossed in the trash it's definitely what you two guys need ash . Anyways I gtg feed my cats since I'm suck at home with nothing to do bye bye girlie !!!

Ashley text bff back - okey I'll make sure to keep you updated girlie bye bye and thanks again for you're awesome advice . I will never cheat on you're brother don't worry Sis !

Sarah text back one last time- I'd hope that you would have a brain sell left or two . If you cheat on him with any of your ex boyfriends then shame on you bestie bye bye !!!!

Cody gets outta the shower and is shirtless water dripping off him - babe turn the news on and let's see if there was any more shark attacks because I need to go surf today !!!! Ashley eyes him up and down - hi to you to babe . I grab him and kiss him go get you're cute butt dressed before I have a wedding dream about you next . I joke trying to make him laugh . Cody - you're not funny baby turn the news on no more kisses for you !!!!! . He walks away and goes into the bedroom to get changed in my bathroom probably as I watched him walk away I'm definitely trying to not drool . I turned on the news and I'm excepting them to say beach shut down still or something like that shark attack again . I see nothing except for the news channel saying that beaches in Hawaii and cape cod are opening up again but to not go swimming or surfing just for a week . I texted Sarah - hi did ya see the news ?! Isn't this exciting! Sarah - yeah I've been bored in bed all day long when you and my brother had a beach date night. Ashley - you just missed a cat fight is all ...Courtney got mad because Patrick got metal silverware and she had a little fit trust me you only missed the big drama . Sarah - when isn't there drama ? Including family .

Cody comes into the living room- so what's the news saying ? Can we go to the beach now and go surfing yet before I pass out faint and die because I'm very bored !!!!!!!! .

Ashley burst into laughter- babe we can go surfing when it's safe to go surf chill out. I think there still checking the ocean by helicopters for sharks to be safe okay cutie ? .

Cody sighs - well let's just go hang out at the beach then because I'm tired of being stuck at home no offense babe . I think I'm going nuts being stuck at home 24/7 . Let's go !!!!!

Ashley text Sarah - come to the beach with you're brother and I girlie bye bye.

Sarah text me- I'll meet you guys there bye bye love ya both to hell and back ! .

I get a beach bag packed up for Cody and I then off to the beach we went .......

What happens at the beach ? More drama or another day to possibly relax ?
