Later on when it was almost night time my bestie Sarah and I went surfing together. As we're getting our surf boards outta the back of Cody's truck I say - you're gonna kill me . Sarah - why am I gonna kill you? She says shutting the truck bed after we got the boards out . Ashley - well things happened last night. Sarah - I'm gonna be sick to my stomach i can already tell what you're gonna say ! Ashley - Andrew kissed me when we were in the kitchen making spaghetti together. Sarah - and here comes the vomit ! She pretends to throw up. Ashley - you're so dramatic! Let's just surf and forget about it . Sarah - fine ! . We run onto the beach . But we're speaking about this later she says . Ashley - no we're not speaking about this later it's just a dumb kiss . Sarah - but that's not how Andrew probably feels right ? . Ashley- why would I care ? Sarah - he's back from Afghanistan. I think that means something will happen besides one little kiss with you guys Because whenever he's back something always does less he is ignoring you . Ashley - Sarah stop okay I'm overhearing about it . Sarah - okay but you know I'm right ash . Ashley - this is why I rather surf with the newbies rather than with you . Sarah - ouch I'm so hurt ash . I roll my eyes at her as I'm sitting on my surf board in the ocean I shut my eyes trying to relax and take in the beautiful view around me . The waves push my board up then back down lightly rocking back and forth in the ocean. Sarah - isn't this just relaxing ? I open my eyes and glare at her - yeah it is . But not when you talk about my ex boyfriends it's not . Sarah - sorry I didn't mean to piss you off . Ya good ? Ashley - well you think that I'm getting back together with every single one of my ex's and that's just not the case . I kissed a few and that's it . Not to mention some I've got bad blood with like true . Him being here is honestly just so annoying I wish he'd just pack up and leave . It's been on my mind because it just bugs me he's here . I definitely don't wanna see him in my new town . I moved to Hawaii to get away from my past and its following me here now and it's so annoying. Sarah - yeah I totally understand ash but everything will get better for you . Maybe you should set your mind on surfing and ya friends vs having a boyfriend or boys in general because it stresses you out a lot . Just have guy friends. You don't got to date them but their always there for you. Ashley sighs - yeah that's what I'm trying to do but I get roped into the whole I like you for you thing . It's just super embarrassing!!

Sarah - well we're going surfing more with the girls and we don't have to invite the guys Because I think it would help you feel a lot better. No boyfriend no problems I said as I laugh and splash the water lightly . Sarah - I feel like I've been the top issue for ya like telling you to work things out with Andrew and now my brother but the truth is you do not need them in your life you're the kinda girl that's always been independent in my opinion so I feel like you just don't need a boyfriend Even though you want a boyfriend. Ashley - I definitely don't want a boyfriend maybe next year . 2020 is way to crazy right now and it's very stressful on me . But I guess you'll never know how life will turn out . Sarah - yeah it's definitely been a crazy year . The holidays are coming up fast to it's already November now but it's hot enough to still surf In the middle of the ocean. It's crazy ! . Ashley - we do live in Hawaii. Sarah - sadly the past followed you here sorry . Ashley - yeah just you wait till I'm shipping my past off onto a airplane back to we're he came from . Sarah burst into laughter- cheers to the holiday seasons ! Cheers ! We clap our surf boards together like they are glasses of wine and burst into laughter! . I've had enough ocean waves for one night what about you ash Sarah says . Ashley - yeah same . Let's go home now . Okay sounds good to me she says we both jump into the water then get our boards to drag when we swam back to the shore . Being careful not to splash a lot . Sharks hate splashing . We made it to shore safe and sound and walked onto the sandy beach . Ring . Ring . My cell phone rang - shit it's my mom ! Pick up Sarah says . Ashley - she's gonna kill me if she hears the ocean in the background. Sarah - we can say we didn't go surfing . Ashley - I'm not saying that ! Sarah - whatever get in trouble then .
