"So, how do you think she'll react to him?" I smiled down at the puppy who lay fast asleep in my arms.

I only turned to Matthew once I never heard a reply.

"It was nice knowing you, Y/N" I rolled my eyes at his smirk. He chuckled as I leant over to hit him lightly.

"Thanks for the support, Matthew" he only laughed louder. I sighed and glanced back down at the puppy. "I'm sure she'll love you, she can never resist a puppy. And you have the most gorgeous eyes ever" I pressed a kiss to the top of the puppy's head as he woke and stretched on my lap.

"You thought of a name for the little guy?"

"Bentley."

"Why Bentley?" he lightly chuckled.

"It's my favourite car" I found myself lightly blushing.

"Oh, Y/N" Matthew pulled the car into the driveway and my heart began to pound at the sight of Demi's car. "Anyway, I wish you endless amounts of luck" Matthew spoke as he brought the car to a stop beside Demi's.

"You aren't coming in with me for backup?" all he did was laugh louder while shaking his head.

"You're on your own, Babe. I had nothing to do with this."

"Cheers, Matt" I adjusted the puppy in my arms as I opened the car door. "Let's hope mommy likes you as much as I do, Baby" I pressed another kiss to the top of his head as I climbed from the car. "Bye, Traitor" Matt loudly chuckled as I sent him a wave, closing the car door behind me. I released a breath and turned back to face the house. "Let's go and face the music then, Bubba."

I pulled open the front door and was instantly greeted by a wide smiling Demi and a yapping Batman and Ella. The smile on Demi's face faulted slightly and her eyes narrowed in on me as she took a brief glance at the puppy.

"Please tell me that you're dog sitting for the night?" I chewed down on my lower lip and shook my head as I shut the front door with my foot.

"No, this is Bentley."

"And who does Bentley belong too?"

"Us" I shyly replied.

"Y/N" Demi groaned and rolled her eyes, turning and beginning back into the kitchen. I gently lowered Bentley down onto the floor, Batman and Ella instantly surrounding him. I hoped that they made him feel welcome as I followed Demi into the kitchen.

"Babe?" she was rinsing off the bowl in the sink as I stepped into the room.

"We already have two dogs, Y/N. I told you that we didn't need another one" I innocently shrugged my shoulders.

"I didn't know what to get you for our anniversary and-and I walked past him in the pet store and I couldn't resist. He has the most gorgeous eyes, Demi" she turned to me with a sigh as I pleaded with her. "He is the sweetest little thing" Batman ran into the kitchen, followed by Ella who was closely followed by Bentley who tripped over his own paws and practically face planted the floor.

I glanced back up at Demi to find her smiling but once she noticed me watching, her smile dropped.

"We already have enough with Batman and Ella."

"You just smiled, and don't go denying it" she rolled her eyes and sighed, her lips tugging slightly at the corners.

"Okay, we can keep him" I squealed and dived at her, my arms wrapping tightly around her neck.

"I love you" she rolled her eyes as I pulled my head from her neck and pressed a kiss to her pout.

"I suppose I love you too" I lifted Bentley up from the floor and ran my fingers through his fur. "Hi, Bentley. Welcome to your new home" I widely smiled as Demi held her hand out to Bentley who began to lick at it.

"Happy anniversary, Baby."

"I can't believe I've survived two years with you" I loudly laughed as I pressed another kiss to her lips.
