My attention was pulled from the tv at the sound of my phone buzzing from where it sat on the arm of the couch. I grabbed it and the smile on my face just widened at the snapchat notification.

I instantly opened the notification and my heart thumped.

I hate that she's on the other side of the country.

It took her less than a minute to reply.

I love Demi with my entire heart and soul and I'm so proud of everything that she's achieved but I hate her job. I hate that it takes her away from me but we survived a world tour, so we can survive anything else that's thrown at us.

I've been in relationships before but I've never loved someone as much as I love Demi.

I stared down at my phone, only glancing up when Batman and Ella jumped onto the couch and curled up beside me.

"Do you miss mommy too, Guys?" I sighed as I stroked my fingers through Batman's fur, smiling as they just cuddled more into me. "Let's send mommy a snap" I wrapped my arm around them both and pulled up my camera.

"Well done with the sad eyes, Ella" I ran my fingers through her fur and sent the snap.

I glanced up at the tv, suddenly jumping as a knock sounded on the front door. My eyebrows furrowed and I pushed myself up from the couch as Batman and Ella darted to the front door, barking up a storm.

Demi and I moved in together after a year of dating and we made sure we moved somewhere with a gate that required a passcode which only close friends, family and Demi's team know so there's only a limited amount of people who could ever be at the door, anyone else needs to be buzzed in by one of us.

Batman and Ella stood around my feet as I unlocked the door and pulled it open.

They darted towards the person stood on the porch and my heart pounded against my chest, my eyes welling up with tears as it slowly sunk in.

Demi is standing on our porch.

"Hi, Babies" she gave Batman and Ella a quick fuss as I just stood there staring at her with tears threatening to pour down my cheeks. "Hi, Beautiful" I threw myself at her, my arms tight around her neck causing her to loudly laugh.

"Hi" I nuzzled my face into her neck, tears now pouring down my cheeks and I made no attempt to stop them.

"I love you too, by the way" she pulled away from the hug, her fingers stroking at my cheek.

"I love you so much more" she rapidly shook her head.

"Not possible."

"Is so possible" she chuckled, continuing to shake her head as she leant to brush her lips with mine.
