I watched in disgust as Deanna devours the blood of a deer. I think I'm gonna be sick.
Deanna doesn't notice me as she drinks. Why the hell was I watching anyway?! I turn away.
I stumble over to a tree and throw up.
I hear a bark of laughter and spin around. A guy I've never seen before is standing behind me.
"Hello, love," he says.
"Wh-Who are you?" I ask.
"The name's Marcus," he says and before I know it his arms are around me and his teeth are at my neck.
I scream. He covers my mouth. I black out.
***
Jason, William, Justin, Deanna. All advancing toward me. Blood shot eyes, pointy teeth.
I had no where to run, no where to hide.
I could do nothing but wait and die.
The four of them pounce on me.
I scream.
***
I wake up screaming.
I look around the house sweaty and breathless. Where the hell was I?
Jason comes running toward me.
"Thank god you're awake!" he says, kissing my head.
"Wh-what happened? Where am I?" I ask.
"We are at Deanna's house," he says.
Speak of the devil.
"Deanna heard you struggling and she saved you, unfortunately he got away," Jason says.
Deanna saved me?
Deanna Slotegraaf's P.O.V.
I walk into the living room and Bailey's awake and talking to Jason.
"How are you feeling?" I ask, leaning against the door jamb.
"Oh, um good, thank you," she replies and I give her a little nod.
Justin appears beside me.
"Oh good, you're awake," he says.
"Thank you, Deanna, for saving me," Bailey says, I nod again.
"Marcus Liberal, head of the Original Coven," Justin says, "I'll kill him! He was on my territory!"
I put my hand on Justin's shoulder.
"Justin, I've hear of the Original Coven," I say, "They are much stronger than you..."
"Wow, thanks for having faith in me, Dee..." he says.
I shrug lazily.
"Guys, we have to do this, the Original Coven is dangerous..." Justin repeats.
"I'm with Justin," William says, walking into the room eating a cupcake.
"William... you're back..." Bailey says and William nods stiffly.
"I go where Jason goes," Bailey says and William growls.
"Dee?" Justin asks.
"Justin, I st-" he cuts me off.
"We'll be fine," he says.
I sigh. "Fine I'm in..." I say.
