Heatwave, how did you feel when Hotshot chose your firetruck form?
(Reference to RBA Season 2 Episode 26 "Big Wheels")
Heatwave: *trying not to smile too much at the memory from several years ago* Hotshot was always a bot who had a passion for being the best of the best, so him wanting to be a rocket ship was pretty normal.
Heatwave: *averting optic contact from the camera* but when he stopped me and scanned my firetruck mode as his 4th vehicle mode... to say I was proud is an understatement.
Heatwave: it was like he suddenly just... changed. He knew he was allowed to pick whatever vehicle form he wanted. Yet, in the end, he chose mine. Just so that he can be like me.
Heatwave: now, granted, I'm a hothead and he is too... but it was probably one of the best thing's I have ever heard. My actions was worthy enough to inspire a young Recruit, who would later become my son.
Heatwave: it left me smiling for at least a week and it still makes me smile to this day. Also, seeing how small his firetruck mode was, I couldn't stop internally smiling.
Heatwave: I don't know what he said to his team, but I remember talking about it with my team *chuckles* they all said it was the first time I really let myself be emotional. I, admittedly, went back to being a hothead. But, they all knew how overjoyed I was.
Heatwave: and, to this day, Hotshot has always had a firetruck mode when it came to his growth spurts. Everytime he scans a new one, or needs help finding one to scan, he always bursts into my office and gets straight to it.
Heatwave: and yes, I smile like an idiot every time.
Heatwave: so, sorry if this took too long to answer, but I do like to talk about it. It's such a fond memory to me and-
Hotshot: *bUrsts in* DAD DAD DAD
Heatwave: *tilts the camera away* what what what?
Hotshot: I GREW AGAIN I NEED HELP FINDING ANOTHER FIRETRUCK MODE PLEASEEEEEEE
Heatwave: *trying not to smile too much* alright, but I'm not carrying you this time
Hotshot: *jokingly* aww man. Guess I have to walk...
Heatwave: *as he walks past him* you'll live. Besides, it's good exercise!
Camera: *starts fading as the father-son duo joke around with each other and laugh as they walk away from the office, turning off when it fades to black*
