Chapter 1 Home

After Team Avatar's win against Kuvira, Republic City started to rebuild the damages the Earth Empire caused. Everyone was put to work as the world has changed a lot in the past few years; The World has been blessed with new Airbenders thanks to Harmonic Convergence. Humans and Spirits live together as one and a new Spirit Portal was opened in the middle of Republic City. As there were many great things there were still problems that had to be fixed. Prince Wu ended the Earth Monarchy but there are still people that don't agree with that. Master Tenzin decided to send his Airbenders throughout the Earth Kingdom to restore order and balance. A couple of months later President Raiko lost the election to Zhu Li and she is now the active President of Republic City.

Mako and Bolin decided to stay in Republic City to help Chief Beifong sort out the disorder and disarray. Korra and Asami decided to go into the Spirit world to explore the unknown and to learn more information that could be passed down for years to come. Tenzin sent Jinora and Opal to the Northern Air Temple. Another project was to repair the damage the Red Lotus caused to the sacred temple. Airbenders, Waterbenders, Firebenders, and Earthbenders from around agreed to help rebuild the temple. Most of them saw it as returning a favour since the Air Nation was working hard to maintain order. As many Airbenders were sent away Tenzin stationed a few in Republic City to help the Metalbending Police. Kai was one of the few because Tenzin recognized Kai's quick thinking and how quickly he picks up on things.

Jinora and Opal have worked extremely hard and they've been gone for three years. One day Jinora hopes they'll be needed back home. Since they've been away for so long Jinora doesn't know how Republic City is or how anyone back at home is doing. Jinora rarely gets the time to use the radio to call home and she knows the others are busy as well but today was a different day. The sun was radiant as the fluffy clouds were present in the air and in the sky above the temple Jinora was flying around using her wingsuit. Jinora exhaled peacefully seeing the beautiful environment as the wind gently blew on her hair. As Jinora was gliding she heard someone calling her name. When she looked behind her she saw a Sky Bison and on top was a female Airbender with Green Eyes and Short Black Hair. Jinora turned around gliding closer to the Bison and she landed on the saddle. Before she could get a word out she was in a hug and both girls laughed.

"Hey Opal," Jinora greeted as they stopped hugging and smiled at each other. "Hey Jinora, Isn't it such a beautiful day today?" Opal questioned as they faced the gorgeous view. "Yeah, it really is and the best part is we can finally rest," Jinora and Opal looked ahead and they could see the Northern Air Temple almost fully refurbished. Both Airbenders smiled at the fact that the damage the Red Lotus caused was slowly vanishing from the past. 

Opal turned her head to look at Jinora. "That reminds me, we should land and head inside the temple to see if Kento needs us to do anything." Kento was a new Airbending Master Tenzin promoted and ordered to watch this temple. Opal slowly turned back around and she was guiding her Bison to land near the field. When Juicy landed Jinora and Opal got off and Opal plugged her nose as she pets her Bison who was a little smelly. Jinora heard laughter and they saw a male Airbender with Black Eyes and Short Dark Blonde hair. 

Jinora and Opal faced the man seeing his tattoos seeing Master Kento was here and before they showed their respect he stopped them. "There is no need to do that every time you two, plus I should be thanking you. The work we've done together the last few years has truly been life-changing." Jinora and Opal had large smiles on their faces agreeing with Kento and he looked at them again. "I'm glad you made it back. Your timing is perfect actually we just received a call from Republic City and it's for you Jinora." Jinora's eyes widened as she was getting excited hoping it was her father since its been several weeks since the last call.

"Who was it?" Jinora asked quickly,

"Follow me and you can find out," Kento replied as he turned around to lead the way. Jinora and Opal followed Kento into the temple and when they got inside they saw another Airbender holding the radio. The Airbender smirked and held the radio out so Jinora could take it and she slowly grabbed it a little nervous. Opal and Kento listened in as Jinora started to speak, "This is Jinora...Who's this?"
