Blizzard Pt 2

As Shu Yen held his radio he could hear a loud sound on Ryan's side, "Ryan! Report!" Shu Yen called into the radio demanding a response.

"SHU YEN!!!" Someone shouted from behind him holding a radio,

Shu Yen turned around and looked at a Firebender, "What is it Sanron?" Shu Yen asked, "Avalanche on the mountain and two of the scout's heart signatures went offline" Sanron explained. Shu Yen looked at his watch seeing Ryan's signature was present and Henry's but it was faint, "When the storm passes I want two Airships sent to the mountains and pull our people out" Shu Yen ordered. Sanron nodded and he ran quickly to make Shu Yen's order happen, Shu Yen looked at the mountain and he grabbed his radio attempting to make contact again.

 Half of the truck was buried in snow and Ryan's radio was buried in the snow but Ryan was safe, he quickly got into the truck before the Avalnche hit him. Ryan got up and could barely see anything through the window, "That was too close" Ryan told himself as he crawled from the back to the front of the truck. Ryan grabbed the radio in the car, "This is Ryan reporting, We are pinned down, we need backup" Ryan reported but  all he could hear was static. Ryan sighed and put the radio down, "No signal" Ryan commented as he tried to start the truck.

But every time he tried to start it, the engine would just stall and it wouldn't start, "DAMN IT!!!" Ryan shouted hitting the steering wheel. Ryan put his face on the steering wheel ready to cry, "It's over, I'm going to die out here, it's cold, I'm hungry, and I have no way of contacting for help" Ryan told himself as he was starting to give up. Ryan rested his back on the seat and he saw himself in the mirror.

Ryan paused for a second and he looked at the Mirror, "No, I can't give up" Ryan told himself looking at himself. "What about Henry?" Ryan questioned realizing now that Henry was still out there. Ryan grabbed his pocket knife in his pocket and opened up the radio, "Let's see what I can do about this" Ryan thought as he was trying to fix the radio.

Shu Yen sighed, "Maybe I need to use it after all" Shu Yen stated grabbing a whsitle that was blue and red. Shu Yen was about to blow it until he felt his radio vibrate, Shu Yen grabbed his radio, "Hello?" Shu Yen spoke. "Hey Boss it's Ryan" Ryan replied, Shu Yen sighed in relief and put the whistle in his pocket. "Ryan where are you?" Shu Yen asked.

"Well, I'm inside one of the Brotherhood Patrol Trucks" Ryan answered,

"Hold tight we'll have troops to your position in the next 5 minutes" Shu Yen explained,

"What about Henry? He could die out there If I don't help" Ryan objected,

"If you leave you increase your risk of dying, you're cold and exposed, you've been out for too long the truck is keeping you warm" Shu Yen explained. But in the background he could hear the door being forced opened. "Ryan what are you doing?" Shu Yen asked.

Ryan was kicking the window, "Trying to break the window and crawl out, I have enough supplies to survive, I'm going to find Henry and keep him alive, We're a team" Ryan explained as he shattered the window. Ryan grabbed a flashlight and used it to clear the glass so he doesn't cut himself. Before Shu Yen could say anything else the radio cut out showing Shu Yen Ryan was disobeying orders.

Shu Yen put the radio down and Sanron looked at Shu Yen, "Do all soldiers disobey orders sir?" Sanron asked. Shu Yen turned and looked at Sanron, "Only the good ones" Shu Yen answered as they both turned and looked at the mountains.

Ryan took out his watch and saw a beeping dot on his GPS scanner, "Good thing Shu Yen connected us on this" Ryan commented as he continued to search for Henry.

Shu Yen looked at the hangar and saw the Airships were ready for takeoff, "Shu Yen!" Someone called. Shu Yen turned around and saw Sanron run over, "The Airships are ready when you are" Sanron explained. Shu Yen walked with Sanron, "We leave now, they won't have much time before they freeze." Shu Yen was with Sanron on the way to board their Airships.

"Then Ryan found me and that's how it ended" Henry interrupted ending the story, everyone in the truck looked at Henry.

"What about the rescue? How did Ryan find you? How did you both survive?" They questioned, Henry crossed his arms and Ryan started talking. "That's how it happened, it did happen a long time ago so we don't remember all the details, but when I found Henry, the boss and help found us and we made it out alive."

Everyone looked disappointed and Henry looked at Ryan thinking, "Why did he lie?" Henry asked himself thinking. Ryan smirked, "Anyway, everyone get ready we're approaching the drop zone."

Everyone put their gear back on ready to approach the drop zone ready to move on to the next part of the plan.

In the back of the Truck, Kai head was leaned on Jinora's shoulder and she smiled seeing Kai was resting fine. Jinora looked around seeing if their was anything they could do from the back but she quickly realized all they could do was wait and see. Jinora yawned and she leaned her head on Kai's and she slowly fell asleep.
