Henry P.O.V (Thoughts)

Ryan was driving the truck and we were in the forrest, we were already in Shu Yen territory but we need to bring the Airbenders to the Capital. This mission has taught me many things and one is the value of a team. I never felt more connected to a group of people till today, I know all their names and I actually tolerate them. But there is something else I feel that has changed but I just don't know how to explain it.

Henry turned his head and looked at Ryan who was paying attention to the trails, "Did you see that 4 pack?" Terra whispered in Henry's ear from behind him. Henry turned and looked at Terra and she laughed quietly. "You two okay?" Cole asked, Henry and Terra looked at Cole, "Yes" They both said at the same time. Cole smirked and laid back down taking a maginze out and he continued to read it.

"So Henry could you continue the story" Rora stated, Henry paused shocked how loud she said it and shortly the other Benders asked too. "What story?" Ryan asked curious, "The way you and Henry became friends" Terra stated. Ryan smiled and laughed thinking back, and Henry sat in his chair feeling slightly embarrassed. "Man that feels like a decade ago" Ryan stated looking at Henry. Henry smirked, "Yeah it sure was" Henry replied thinking back to those days. "Let me tell you what I remember" Ryan explained to everyone adding to the story.

A Day after they first met...

After some hardworking exerisises Henry forced me to meet him on a mountain at 4 am in the morning. Time after time we did lots of heavy duty training, I'll admit they were tough and their were times I want to quit but I didn't give up. The Boss told me Henry would be the key to help me increase my own skills. But we didn't talk much at all it was a more of a he was the leader and I had to listen and follow orders type of relationships.

"If you guys were so distant, how did you guys get close?" Cole asked, "One day changed all of it" Henry stated remembering the day.

Henry P.O.V (Telling the story)

Ryan and I were assigned to a search and rescue mission for a pair of scouts that failed to report back in the snowy mountains. What we thought a simple search and rescue mission turned into a cold hell real quick. Honestly on that day I didn't even know if we would make it back in one piece.

The truck stopped and Henry and Ryan got out both dressed in full snow gear and rescue supplies. Henry closed his door and took out his watch looking at a map seeing a dot beep, "Their last position was straight ahead" Henry stated. Ryan put his arm up blocking the snow, "Henry, it's a severe snow Storm maybe we should wait for the storm to pass and continue the search and decrease the risk of us getting hurt" Ryan stated.

Henry looked at Ryan, "Listen Rookie, this is a big deal when we succeed Shu Yen will reward us well" Henry stated. Ryan scratched his arm, "I understand that sir but-" Ryan was explaining, "No but Rookie, just follow orders and let's get searching" Henry ordered walking forward. Ryan shrugged his shoulders, "If you say so" Ryan commented as he followed Henry into the snow storm.

The winds started to pick up and it was getting colder, Henry and Ryan continued to move but they were battling the wind. Ryan looked and saw part of the mountain fall and the snow was getting worse. "HENRY I THINK WE SHOULD TURN BACK!!!" Ryan shouted grabbing Henry arm. Henry turned and shook it off, "NO!!!" Henry shouted backing shaking Ryan's grip, "THE STORM IS GETTING WORSE!!!" Ryan shouted.

Henry was already exhausted from the training from yesterday so he wasn't thinking clearly, "I'm done with this" Henry stated. Ryan looked confused, "Done with what?" Ryan asked, "You" Henry stated. Ryan looked down then back at Henry, "You don't mean that" Ryan disagreed with what Henry stated. Henry pushed Ryan and Ryan fell to the ground, "LEAVE!!! GET OUT!!!" Henry shouted. Ryan looked at Henry concerned and he got up, "Henry....Let me-" Ryan was trying to talk sense into Henry.

"I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!! GET OUT OF MY FACE!!! THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE HERE IS BECUASE I WANT AN ADVANCEMENT BUT YOU ARE JUST A DEAD WEIGHT" Henry shouted in complete rage turning around continuing the search alone. Ryan turned and wiped his eyes and he frowned and he turned around walking the opposite direction on the way back to the truck.

Ryan looked up and could see the truck but Ryan was hearing his radio go off, "YEAH!!!" Ryan shouted. "Ryan this is Shu Yen, the storm is getting worse, I need you and Henry to pull out immediately there is a severe snow storm coming" Shu Yen ordered. Ryan paused, "Henry split off from me" Ryan informed. Shu Yen sighed, "Take the truck and just leave, the Brotherhood will not deal with idiotic people like him" Shu Yen ordered. Ryan put the radio away and he turned around thinking about Henry. 

Meanwhile Henry was stomping on the ground pissed, "Good for nothing Rookie, thinks he knows everything, I am a General of the Brotherhood I know what I'm doing" Henry ranted kicking snow around. Before Henry could shout anymore he felt the ground shake and he was hearing strong winds. Henry turned around and his eyes widened up in shock, "AVALANCHE!!!!" Henry shouted making a run for it.

Henry ran as the snow from the very top was collapsing and the snow was closing in on him, Henry turned his head and closed his eyes as the snow fell on him burrying him underneath.

Ryan ears raised up slightly as he heard a loud sound Ryan dived and ducked behind the truck as the Avalanche hit everything in the area burying everything in snow.
