Lockdown

Bolin, Opal, Verrick, and Shu Yen walked into the Station and Bolin turned to look at them, "Wait here, Opal and I will talk to Chief Beifong" Bolin explained. Verrick and Shu Yen stopped, "Alright, make it quick Bolin" Verrick commented as Opal and Bolin entered and saw police officers and workers all over the place. Opal and Bolin looked around the room and Opal tugged on Bolin's arm. "What's wrong Opal?" Bolin asked, but as Bolin turned he saw a poster of Kai and Jinora on the missing board. Opal looked at Bolin seeing he looked saddened, Opal held Bolin's hand. "Don't worry Bolin we will help find Kai and Jinora" Opal reassured, Bolin looked at Opal and smiled.

"BOLIN!!! OPAL!!!" Someone shouted from across the room,  they twirled their bodies quickly seeing Ling wave her hand and they quickly ran over to her. "I'm glad to see you two safe" Ling stated. Bolin looked at Ling, "What happened at Air Temple Island? Where is Kai and Jinora? Where is Chief Beifong?" Bolin asked quickly. Ling paused, "Air Temple Island was raided by the Kidnappers, the place was trashed and Kai and Jinora were taken but luckily Tenzin's family, Nalo, and two other Airbenders made it out, Kai and Jinora location is unknown but we have officers searching the city, and the Chief is at Air Temple Island" Ling explained.

Before they said anything else a cop walked over, "Airships Beta and Gama are ready to move out" The Cop reported. Ling looked at the cop, "Tell them they are authorized to move out" Ling ordered. The Cop nodded and ran and Bolin and Opal looked at at Ling, "Are you in charge?" Bolin asked. "Yeah, Chief put me in charge of search and Rescue in the city" Ling answered, before Bolin could say anything else a cop interrupted. "A call from the president" A Cop stated, Ling paused and grabbed the radio. "Mrs. President this is Ling" Ling stated, Bolin and Opal watched and saw Ling's eyes widened. "Mrs. President are you sure?" Ling asked, Opal and Bolin looked at each other concerned.

Ling put the radio down, "Code Red stage 3, contact General Iroh immediately" Ling ordered to the Cop. The Cop nodded and ran to follow the orders, Opal and Bolin looked at Ling, "Ling, What's a Code Red Stage 3?" Opal asked. Ling looked at them, "Lockdown, no one gets in or out" Ling explained. "Ling how can we help?" Bolin asked, Ling took a second to think and she knew what they could do. "Meet the Chief on Air Temple Island, they could use your help locating Kai and Jinora" Ling explained. Bolin and Opal nodded and left the police station, as they got out Shu Yen and Verrick got up. "What's going on?" Verrick asked, "We'll explain on the way but we're going on a search and rescue mission" Bolin explained briefly. Verrick stopped and looked at Bolin and Opal. "I have to make sure Zhu Li is safe but I'm sure Shu Yen would love to go" Verrick commented as he ran off. Bolin and Opal looked at Shu Yen, "What are we waiting for? Let's go" Shu Yen advised. Bolin and Opal smiled as they went with Shu Yen to Air Temple Island.

Underground the drill stopped, "Why did we stop?" Henry asked, the drivers looked at Henry, "We need to recharge our energy is low" The Drivers explained. Henry turned and looked at the Firebenders, "Power the drill" Henry ordered. The Firebenders left to the engine room and started generated lightning. The Drivers looked at the dial, "Could take a few minutes" The Driver explained to Henry. Henry sat back, "Then get comfy" Henry commented as everyone sat down taking a break.

In the storage room Jinora head was on Kai's lap and he had his hand on Jinora forehead and he sniffled.  Kai looked at Jinora and placed his hand on her cheek, "Please wake up Jinora, I don't know what I would do if you don't..." Kai paused not wanting to think about it. Kai laid his head back feeling pain but yet he was tired. Kai felt his body aching, Kai placed his hand on his cheek and looked at his hand and saw blood. Kai hissed as his cheek was stinging in pain, Kai's eye lids were forcing themselves to close. Kai fought to stay awake but with his injuries and the fact he was tired his eyes forced themselves close and he fell asleep.

After several minutes Jinora grunted in pain and she opened her eyes and she saw Kai, "Kai" Jinora called quietly still recovering. Kai slowly opened his eyes but once he saw Jinora wake he opened his eyes and hugged Jinora. "I'm so glad your awake" Kai explained, as they stopped Jinora looked around the room. "Where are we?" Jinora asked, Kai looked at Jinora, "In some drill" Kai answered as he hissed in pain again. Jinora noticed and saw a mark on a cheek, "Kai what's that?" Jinora asked reaching her hand out. Kai turned his head, "It's nothing" Kai stated as he grunted again. Jinora sat up and put her hand on Kai's cheek and saw the mark, "Kai are you going to be okay? Jinora asked.

Kai looked at Jinora, "Don't worry about me, what about you are you feeling ok?" Kai asked, Jinora forced herself to sit up and she sat across Kai. "Kai, it does matter, I care about you" Jinora stated seeing Kai blush a little. Kai paused, "Jinora, I-I" Kai stuttered but Jinora leaned in and kissed Kai. Kai closed his eyes as they kissed and they stopped, Kai and Jinora hugged as they both reassured each other. Kai and Jinora broke it up hearing the door open, "Oh look who's awake" The Nonbender commented. Kai forced himself up, "Kai don't!" Jinora called, The Nonbender laughed. "What are you going to do boy attack me?" The Nonbender asked, Kai weakly punched forward but nothing happened. "Forgot you were Chi Blocked" The Nonbender brought up. 

Kai fell back and Jinora caught him, "Kai are you okay?" Jinora asked sounding concerned, The Nonbender smirked. "Be careful we still need both of you" The Nonbender commented walking away closing the door. 

Jinora held Kai, "Kai we should rest, we need to save our strength" Jinora advised, Kai laid back and looked at Jinora. Jinors smiled as Kai eyes slowly closed and he fell asleep, Jinora sat in a mediating position. "Let's hope this works" Jinora told herself trying to sprit project to Korra.
