Chicago moves out of his seat next to Chloe so he can go get the paper and criteria sheet that they need, while Chloe gets the textbook. While he was up he completed on getting them a large piece of construction paper before he went to go sit back down. He decides it would be best for him to grab one for them. He crouches down so he can get a better look at the colors. He knows Chloe's favorite color is blue, so he grabs a light baby blue for her, just like her eyes. It also had a white space at the end so she could draw on it too.
He takes the piece of paper off the stack so he can bring it back to their table. He also grabs them some extra pens that they can use if the one they have runs out of ink. He slowly walks back so he can watch the concentrates look on Chloe's face as she works. She was flipping though the textbook, probably looking for a minor god or goddess for them to do their project on. As soon as he goes and sits down, she flips backwards and stops on a page. Slowly pushing the book over to Chicago
"I kinda wanna do our project on Morpheus. He's the good of dreams. But if you want to do a different one that's fine too." she beams and a smile comes onto her face. She looked up at Chicago beginning to sit down, and putting the items on the desk.
Chicago also smiles back and took the textbook into his hand to take a better look at the book. He definitely didn't mind doing the God she picked out, in fact he thought it was a good idea. There was fairly big page on him as well, so that would make it easier. "It's fine. I don't mind doing our project on him, I think he would be easy to do. Besides, he has a large page of information so I think it'll be pretty easy to do." he tells her with a smile covering his face. He could see her eyes light up at his response. He likes seeing her happy and smile. Her being happy made him happy. "Alright, you ready to start working?" he asks her. Just making sure there's nothing else they need to grab.
Chloe nods her head sticking her lip out in the process one of the cutest view to ever look at that Chicago has ever seen. She then grabs one of the extra papers he got. He knew those would be useful. "I can start the poster layout and you can start writing down facts and information?" She questions him turning her head a bit to face him. Chicago didn't have a problem with that. It wouldn't be that hard to write down facts then copy them over tomorrow or the day after. They had until Friday anyways. "Yeah that's fine. Quick question though, are we drawing him or printing out pictures?" He wanted to be sure of what they were fully doing before they got started.
"Hm.. i don't mind drawing him. I'll do it tomorrow if it's okay with you." She says biting her lip a bit, concentrating on making the outlines perfect on the paper. Chicago quickly approved of the idea. Very intrigued of the idea of Chloe drawing something. He's never seen any of her drawings, but from what he's heard from their art teacher in the past. She was really good at it. Ever since Chloe was little. She loved painting and singing. It was her dream to become an artist or singer one day, so from this day she was very good at both. Chicago was eager to see what she would come up with as well, everyone had their own interpretation of God's and Goddesses. Knowing her, she would follow the textbook and add her own little twist on it.
Chicago skims down the page of Morpheus reading the information about him. Chloe has already started to section out the paper. She has a sharpie in one hand and her elbow was holding a ruler in place. She finished the line at the top of the paper so that she could write the name of the God they were doing. She neatly wrote the name of their God at the top of the paper. Her handwriting was pretty and she swirled some of the letters to make them look neater. She wrote their names in the top right corner. Chicago's was in the top and her name was written under his.She added his and her last name as well. Plus the wrote down the date and class period. Checking everything off her rubric as well as his. Chicago quickly moves his eyes from watching her and goes back to writing down the facts he needs.
He lists all the facts down and under them he starts his small description paragraph. Basically a small summary of all of it. He talks about how Morpheus of the God of dreams and how he used as a messenger for the God's Morpheus was able to take any human form he pleased but his true form was a winged demon. He was the son of the God Hypnos and Goddess Pisithea. He also has brothers that work in the Underworld. Mopheus slept in a cave full of poppy seeds. Him and his family lived in the Realm of Dreams which were located in the Underworld. He was also the only one of his brothers that gave good and helpful dreams. The rest gave nightmares and insomnia. This made him stand out from everyone else.
Once he was finished writing his paragraph, he slid the paper over to Chloe. Asking her to double check it and make sure she likes everything. He wants to make sure she approves of everything before they copy it down later. Didn't want to have any mistakes.
"That's good. I'm almost done dividing the paper up. You have good hand writing, so tomorrow I could draw could you copy everything over?" She asks him to make sure he's okay with that plan. Chicago of course agrees to that. He was just happy that he could be useful to her.
Chloe picks up all their papers and supplies to store them in the classroom. The class was almost over and they did all that they could today. They both got a good amount of the project done. But they were both eager to leave and go to lunch. As soon as Chloe got back from putting the supplies up, the bell rang. Then she bolted out of the class. Chicago following in suit. Just as eager to be done with this class.
Chloe's stomach was growling. Too busy to get to lunch. She forgot about her friend Stacie. They could always walk to lunch since they have the same class before it. Chloe sighed and turned around seeing Stacie catching her up.
"Woah Chloe, slow down." Stacie was playing with her water bottle as she catches up to her.
"Sorry Stace just really hungry." Chloe sighed rubbing her stomach. Stacie furrowed her brows curiously.
"Are you okay?" Stacie asked her voice laced with concern.
Chloe turned to look at her confused. "Yeah why?"
Stacie nudged her shoulders before grabbing Chloe's hand, yanking her away. "Now come on, i'm starving"
Chloe yelped at the sudden pull, feeling her arm being yanked off of her, but ignored her best friend's attitude, as hunger took over.
