After the game, Chloe and her friends stood up form the bleachers.  They tried to get by as students made their way over down the steps. She apologetically apologized when she bumped into someone. As they made their way over out of the field. She saw the football players by the locker. She waved at Chicago and her brother.

"Chloe wait up" she heard Chicago called after her. Chloe turned around and stayed still as Chicago jogged towards her.

"What's up?" she asked. She turned her head a bit to see her friends stopping a few feet to wait for her.

"You wanna.." Chicago scratched the back of his head nervously.

"What?" Chloe asked waiting for an answer.

"You wanna hang out later?" he finally asked his breathing becoming uneven

"Uh.." Chloe thought about it. she wanted to just get home and talk to Beca. "I'm not sure, what time?" she asked.

Chicago's eyes went wide. "D-did you say yes?" he stuttered.

"No.. I just asked what time in case I'm free" Chloe reminded him. She did feel bad about it though. She held her phone and her jacket on her hands and tried to keep her jacket in place.

"Right." Chicago cleared his throat trying to regain himself. He hummed a bit thinking for the time they're going to go out. "How about 8 pm?"

Chloe chewed her bottom lip debating if she should take the offer or not. She just wanted to enjoy herself in and not go out. After all it is a Friday. "I'll text you." she said turning around and walking towards her friends. She faced him again waving a little goodbye before getting into a conversation with Aubrey.

Chicago did a victory dance at least happy that he was brave enough to ask her. He chuckled watching Chloe attacking Stacie.

_
When Chloe got home she dropped her bag by the door and sighed heavily happy that her day was over, or so she thought. She still needs to give an answer to Chicago. She went to the kitchen to grab a snack. She grabbed potato chips and a cup of soda from the fridge, and went upstairs.

"Chlo, honey is that you?" Chloe stopped midway and slowly turned around hearing her mothers voice. She went into her parents bedroom and slowly opened the door carefully not to dropped her drink or chips.

She nervously gave a smile. "Yeah I'm here." she was about to bring food to her room. That's one of the rules not to bring food inside her bedroom.

"What are you doing with all that?" her mother pointed out pointing her finger at the stuff that are resting in Chloe's hands. Chloe slowly brought her eyes down at the stuff that are resting on her hands

"Urm.. going to eat it?" Chloe questioned chuckling a bit. she looked a bit to the side to avoid her mothers stare.

"Chloe, no food in your room" Chloe's mother reminded her. She brought her hands up to her glasses and brought them down from using her phone.

"Yeah I know. I won't make a mess I promise." Chloe pleaded and turned around speed walking out of the room. She heard her mother yell "if I see a crumb on the floor you'll be cleaning it up." Chloe chuckled and closed the door from her room. she laid down her snacks on the side desk and she flopped down on her bed and closed her eyes.

"Hey." she tried calling out to Beca. She crossed her legs and sat comfortably, grabbing her chip bag and opening it up. She waited for an answer. After awhile of waiting for Beca, she turned on the tv and flipped on her favorite Netflix show. The Vampire Diaries.

She was so into the show and didn't realize that a certain person she's been waiting for called out to her. "Hey Chloe."

Chloe almost spilled her soda from the sudden voice that scared her. She placed her hand under her chin trying not to spill. "Yeah. Hi"

She heard Beca chuckling. "You okay?" Beca probably heard her almost choking or spilling her drink. Chloe nodded but mentally slapped herself, realizing that Beca couldn't see her.

"Yeah all good. Just almost spilled soda on my bed." she told Beca. she stood up from her bed grabbing the remote and stopping the show. She grabbed her trash and went out of her room. She saw her parents bedroom open and went to look if her mother was still in there. When she saw no one she furrowed her brows and went downstairs.

"Sorry about that, so what are you doing?" Chloe heard Beca ask. Once Chloe came downstairs she went to the kitchen and put her dirty cup in the dishwasher and the bag of chips on the pantry. She opened the fridge to grab a water bottle and sighed heavily tired for the day already.

"Nothing much. Just watching a show on Netflix  and putting stuff away. What about you? Are you home now?" she asked Beca.

"Yeah just got done grading the other half of the packets. Came home half an hour ago. I am exhausted" She heard Beca let out a yawn.

Chloe chuckled and agreed. "I think I'm going to take a nap. You know.. I've been waiting for us to talk." She told Beca honestly.

"Yeah same here. You're interesting." Chloe smiled and blushed a bit at that. She went upstairs into her bedroom, and laid down on her bed getting comfortable again to talk to Beca.

"I can't wait to see each other in person." Beca told her. Okay so she doesn't know that she's subbing in my class. Chloe thought.

"Me too.. I bet you'll be cuter than what you've described." Chloe said.

"Nah.. I don't think so. You might freak out." Beca told her.

"Really how come?" Chloe furrowed her brows. now knowing what Beca meant by that. See stood up from her bed and changed from her school clothes to her comfortable clothes. she decided on a t-shirt of her dads and shorts.

"Don't think about it too much, but whenever people meet me, I kinda scare them away."

Once Chloe was done she flopped down on her bed and heard what Beca just said. She frowned a bit at it. "Aw.. why?"

Beca on the other hand. What she meant by that was that she was a substitute and she is 3 years older than the seniors, and she has met students that would hit on her and Beca would do the same back. Chloe doesn't know that and she also doesn't know that she's her substitute at least she thinks she doesn't. But why wouldn't she think that? She's everything that she has described herself to Chloe. Same name, same last name and same looks. It's obvious. But she also knows that when she meets other people from the internet, they run away, not exactly. they just don't show up on the second date. Maybe she was bad at socializing or because she is  short. I mean she looks like a Junior from high school.  "I'm not sure.. I just kinda get that vibe. You know?" she didn't want to tell her just yet. She's not very good at lying. She wanted to become an actress but as a kid she was a bad liar so that wouldn't get her anywhere. No offence.

"Yeah I get what you mean." Chloe laughed. "Anyway, I don't know about you, but I'm going to take a little nap." Chloe covered her yawned and stretched from her bed. She gabbed one of her blankets and spread it around her body. She brought the sides of the blanket up to her neck and closed her eyes.

"Have a great nap.. beautiful." She heard Beca say to her, and she smiled falling asleep.
