Carla's POV
Everything happened so fast.
One moment we were walking hand-in-hand with the kids, the next moment this bright blue haired girl appears like a hurricane and clashes into me, scoops Noah up in her arms and twirls him around who in return doesn't object a bit instead giggles. Then there comes the hot guy towards whom Noah rushes to screaming 'Dad'.
I thought that was it, but then the freaking yellow-eyed ancient rogue had to show up and get hold of the little boy and hold this scary knife to his small throat.
And now as I stood there still processing everything, I see a dark and dangerous look cross the hot, greyish-green eyed guy aka Noah's father's face.
"Look at this. Who do we have here? Do I see the King himself?" The rogue holding Noah snickers as his eyes shine with mirth.
"Let Noah go, Peter." Noah's father says in a deep tone, the kind of warning lacing his voice that would send chills down one's spine. Not in a pleasant way. He knows the rogue's name when even we didn't know?
The man makes no move to step ahead though, he stands there looking calm and poised yet sending a dark look the rogue, Peter's way.
Anthony is holding Cami in his arms who seems scared by the comotion and has her head buried in Anthony's shoulder. The blue haired girl on the other hand keeps rolling her eyes for some odd reason and has this comical look on her face. She's a bit....weird?
"You think I'll let him go so easily, your highness?" For a moment when the rogue says 'your highness' I mistaken him to be addressing me but his attention is solely focused on Noah's father---let's call him 'Mr. Dark' for now.
Why's the rogue addressing him like that? Is he some lord?
By now, there's a crowd surrounding us, looking at the commotion and some folks seem to reconise me and Cami. So much for keeping a low profile.
"C'mon. We don't have all the time in the world! Milord, what are you waiting for? Christmas? Let's get over with this. We can't keep the queen and the little princess waiting any more, now that we found the prince." The blue haired girl blabbers as she hops over to Peter---the rogue who's holding Noah captive---seeming not a least bit bothered by the whole thing.
"Hey, darling!" She waves at him, speaking in an alluring voice and for a moment I had a glimpse of her eyes glowing blue like an electric current.
"Marilla, stay back." Mr.Dark, Noah's father, warns but she simply shrugs and looks back at Peter who has an amused look on his face.
"You see," She steps closer to the yellow-eyed creature, "The prince here is supposed to go meet his mom who's worried sick for him. So, will you please let him go, love?" She places her hand on his arm seductively and for a moment he seems mesmerised by her before he shakes his head and shoves her away harshly which results her flat on her butt on the muddy groud.
"You do realize your siren's allure won't work on me, right? I'm an ancient too, beautiful fishy." Peter smirks as the blue haired girl, Marilla, mutters a series of curses under her breath before getting up and glaring at the rogue.
The folks seem confused by the whole ordeal and the crowd keeps on getting larger which isn't any good. It seems to annoy Mr. Dark too as he says,
"Marilla, enchant the folks out of here. I'll take care of the rest." He gives her a brief glance before focusing his attention on Peter again, completely ignoring the other rogues surrounding us.
Marilla nods gleefully, "As you say, Milord." And then she's in front of the crowd giving them all a wicked look.
"Ladies and Gentlemen," she smiles a smile which has nothing good to offer, "Wanna hear a song?"
