Book 2: Guardian - Choi San

Part 2

"Seungjun come and eat honey" a voice called from the dining room, the boy let out a sigh and got up from his desk, leaving his textbooks on the desk, he fixed his glasses and then left the room.

When he got to the dining room he took a seat, he looked at the food in front of him and then looked to his parents, he was met with two ladies looking at him worriedly, the couple didn't it up at first but something was wrong with their son, he was usually smiling and he couldn't wait to eat dinner but lately he had been zoned out and he hardly sleeps, it has gotten to the point where Seungjun physically got sick.

They started eating but the two kept an eye on him, realizing that he still wasn't eating much, even his little brother was worried about him, and that was saying a lot because his brother never really paid attention to other's emotions.

"Jun baby is everything okay?" one of the ladies asked him.

"Yeah, I'm fine mama don't worry," he said with a small smile.

"Hmm I don't believe you, baby, do you want to talk about it later?" she asked him, and he let out a sigh, he knew they would keep asking him and they would keep worrying if he didn't speak about it.

"Yeah... maybe that would help," He said and both the ladies nodded.

They all waited for him to start, they didn't want to push him to talk, they wanted to let him find the right words so he could properly express himself to them without any pressure.

"Since the concert that I attended with Gyumin for some reason whenever I close my eyes all I see is that stage, it's already been two weeks since the concert but somehow it keeps appearing before me and then I wonder what it would be like to stand on such a stage in front of the audience and enjoying the stage that much, it's unfamiliar to me... it scares me, all I know is studying I know nothing about music but somehow something inside me is telling me to go out and to give it a shot and I don't know what to do because me, on a stage? It doesn't make sense" the boy told them.

His moms and his little brother all looked at him, his brother being the closest one to him immediately hugged him.

"Hyung, you would be amazing on stage," he said softly.

"Honey, if this is what you want to do if this will make you feel better, you never know until you try," one of his mothers told him.

"But I don't even know how to approach it... like how do I do this," He said, his voice getting softer and softer as he spoke.

"I can help you hyung, I know a lot about these things"

"See baby, let Minnie help you out okay?" the boy nodded a little, his brother looked at him with a big smile.

His moms shared a look, it was hard to express what they were feeling, their son never had any interests in anything, the only thing he did was study and he also never attempted to make friends, and as parents, they were really worried about him but seeing that he found an interest it set them at ease, even if it was just a little bit.

They finished eating and Gyumin dragged Seungjun to their shared room and started going over everything Seungjun needed to prepare for his audition, Gyumin even prepared a training schedule for Seungjun and then told Seungjun about the schools he could enter.

"And this one is Milkyway, it's in Seoul but guess what, San attends this school, it might be nice to attend since he was the one who got you this interested," His brother told him and Seungjun nodded a little.

"Do I have to audition in person or can I just film it and send it in?" he asked.

"Filming and sending it in is fine as well, I'll help you film it okay?"

"Okay"

Seungjun smiled as he watched his brother get even more excited the more he talked about the school and all the idols in the school. Seungjun was thankful for his brother, their roles were often reversed, although Gyumin was only 13 he was really grown up and he was great at making friends or even just talking in general, Gyumin often took care of Seungjun instead of the other way around.

A/N:

◾In case of confusion, Seungjun has two mom's both he and Gyumin were artificial insemination babies.

◾He addresses his moms as:

▶Mama - her name is Areum and she usually refers to Seungjun as Baby.

▶Mommy - her name is Siyeon and she usually refers to Seungjun as Honey.
