Jaye’s POV

“I can’t believe I’m dropping you off to go cheat on me,” Tyler said, feigning dismay as he slowed to a stop at a red light.

“Oh, come on, Ty, you know it’s fake,” Denim explained from the backseat. “And besides, I can’t cheat on someone who’s not my boyfriend.”

“Aw, you know you mah bae,” he grinned at her through the rear view mirror and she just couldn’t help but grin back.

I felt so thirdwheeled.

“This is so weird,” I groaned, looking out the window.

Tyler was dropping Denim and I off at 5SOS’s hotel for ‘dates’ with Calum and Luke. The last time we’d seen them was two days before, when we had the game of truth or dare. It was also the day I’d kissed Luke.

A whole day in between was enough to put me on edge. I hadn’t spoken to Luke at all, and Calum and I had only texted a few times. Things were weird for me, to say the least. And to top it all off, their show was the next day, and we’d be leaving with them the day after that.

We finally got to the hotel, after a lot of flirting between Denim and Ty.

“You gonna be okay for the day?” I asked Ty before getting out. I didn’t like leaving him alone, especially since he was visiting me.

“Yup. I called that blonde from the other night and we’re gonna go do stuff,” he said proudly, like he was satisfied with his achievement.

“What kind of stuff?” Denim asked, with clear accusation in her tone.

“Let him be, Denim,” I laughed, and got out. Denim took a bit longer to get out, she was probably talking to Tyler about who knows what. Those two really needed to release all that sexual tension some time or another or it was going to explode. Right in my face.

I winced at the thought.

Soon enough Denim and I had gotten passed the constant horde of fans outside the hotel. I was called a few demeaning things, but took it without so much as a glance in the direction it came from.

After being given access to the elevators, we rode them to the floor Calum told me they were on, and walked to his and Luke’s room.

“Do we knock?” Denim whispered. “What if they’re asleep?”

“It’s 2 in the afternoon. If they are sleeping, now’s as good a time as any to wake them up,” I said, using a fist and banging on the door. I was a bit unnecessary at times, I admit.

The door flew open and Calum was on the other side, looking really bewildered. His hair was sticking up all cute and fluffy like.

“Oh, it’s just you guys,” he said and turned back around to walk inside. “Please, feel free to enter our humble, but temporary and messy, abode.”

Just us?” Denim asked as we walked in. “Excuse me, but royalty has just arrived.”

He just chuckled and pointed to a couch, “Have a seat, Your Highnesses.”

We sat down and I couldn’t help but ask, “Where’s Luke?”

“Oh, he’s probably still in the shower. Should be out soon.”

And just as he said that, Luke exited the bathroom, but he was fully clothed. Oh the disappointment.

“Hey,” he said to us, or mostly to Denim seeing as he didn’t so much as glance in my direction. What was up with that?
