He felt the tears running down his face but he didn't care.
Everything was crashing down.
The memories of his past were taking over his logical mind.
Normally, he would keep it bottled inside, but everything had piled up inside of him.
He couldn't take it anymore.
They had been so close and yet they were now so far away.
Xelqua stared into the distance, pain in his crimson eyes.
The wind flew past him, but he didn't care.
All he wanted was to be remembered.
But now, he was forgotten.
Just a glitch.
Rain poured down from the sky, making his image blurry.
Soon all that was visible of him was a silhouette sitting on the edge of a cliff, rain pouring down around him, almost like the world was sad with him.
Memories can do terrible things.
The world got smaller and smaller until it was just a cliff.
If you're a human, you don't notice everybody.
It's just the way the world goes.
And yet, sometimes the ones who want to be left alone are actually the ones you need to pay attention to.
It just can get a bit harder.
But Xelqua wasn't alone.
It might seem like it now, focused on his thoughts.
But farther away, a certain admin was gaining back his memories through sheer force of will and regretting forgetting the one person who cared about him the most.
Xisumavoid stared into the distance, trying to fix the code.
He knew something was wrong, and the code was only justifying his deep concern.
Memories kept flashing in his head, making sense yet not.
It was just enough to give him some clues, but not enough to answer his questions.
Everything had started to break, things quickly changing but staying the same.
The presence stood far away, near the point where things were beyond repair.
The world was way past destroyed.
He walked into the nether portal, knowing that his energy had to be saved.
He had to travel millions of meters on an appropriate real-world measurement.
After all, a block is a square meter.
And the glitch point is just that far out.
The world around him transformed from the white and grey of Grian's base to the deep reds and oranges of the nether.
It was the fastest way.
A boat on ice in the nether was the only option, as this would be a very long journey.
The time started to speed, almost as if edited to not be boring.
A timelapse, for my sake.
Or a time skip, if you will.
Anyway, Xisuma's travels took a while, but he made it in the end.
A new nether portal was built, a travel to a world of emotion and memory.
He knew that he needed to go, to help this person in need.
And so through the portal, he jumped.
As the purple particles flew past his eyes, he saw a lonely figure sitting on a cliff.
He knew it was important that he was careful.
The figure had heard him anyway, and turned around.
X paused, and met the figure in the eyes as it softly spoke.
"Suma?"
And while both were left in shock, the world span and showed an image of someone on the floor.
Someone speaking.
"Daisy? Flora? Em? Anyone? Can someone please tell me what's happening?"
And another voice spoke.
"Misery, I'm so sorry..."
Took me forever, didn't it?
Well, here's your next chapter, expect another in ten years.
Jk.
I switched back to third-person because it's so much easier to portray information that way.
I also removed the P.O.V. notes cause I wanted to make the transitions smoother and transitions are what I'm good at.
Also, Xelqua = E.X.
For future reference, I will copy and paste the full names of the hermits in my headcanon here, at least the ones I have.
