Mumbo's P.O.V.

"Grian... I'm sorry."

Why did I ever think of betraying him like that?

"Why are you sorry? It's my fault."

I knew you would say that.

"Grian, it's not your fault! It's Herobrine's! You know what, how about we move out of this room? We've been in here for a while."

A-You've been in here for about as many chapters as the old plot took up.

D-Really?

A-My writing has gotten way better since I first started writing this in early July. I'm probably going to rewrite this once my writing progress stabilizes.

"You're r-right..."

Why did Grian stutter so much?

"Okay then! Follow me!"

I needed to stay positive, for Grian's sake.

I lead him out of the makeshift hospital room and into his base.

"W-We're s-stil-ll in m-my bas-se?"

There seemed to be confusion on Grian's face.

"Yep! We needed to get you healed as quickly as possible, so we healed you here!"

Grian's cute face tilted to the side, then nodded.

Hang on.

I did NOT just think Grian was cute!

Anyway, thinking that Grian is cute is the least of my worries.

Grian was very depressed and unstable.

And the others still blamed him, if not as much.

I needed to make sure that Grian didn't come in contact with them, otherwise, they might cause his already extreme feeling of worthlessness to get bigger, and that would do the opposite of healing Grian.

Why the fuck am I updating at 1 am?

Also, three updates in three days?

Writer's block has been cured!

Oh wait, I still have those stories.

Well, this the only one that's really getting read, so...

Speaking of reads, I've created a new Hermitcraft fanfiction that I think people who like this book might like.

It's called Family and you can find it on my profile.

Also, I think I'm putting both Mumbo and Grian into the role of a depressed protector.

Help me!

This AN was way too long...

Bye!
