Sean wished there was a radio station playing music still, he wasn't used to such a silent world.

He was saving his battery for when he could have a moment by himself. As much as he liked having company around, he wanted to just ignore the world and listen to music.

That's what he liked about Honey. She made him think about the world and stay grounded. He would've gone crazy if she hadn't come along.

The sound of the car driving down the freeway was echoing in the still trees.

"I miss the sound of birds." Honey says, her eyes on the road. She had been driving for almost half an hour.

"Oh shit." She says, suddenly. "Ah shit."

Sean turns to her, searching her for any sign of bleeding of some sort. "What?"

"We're almost out of gas." She slaps her forehead.

"Fuck me." He peeks at the gas. Honey looks at him right away.

"What?" Honey giggles.

He holds up his hands in defence. "I didn't mean literally!" Heat rises to his cheeks.

Honey laughs. "I know. I like seeing you flustered."

Sean covers his face with his hands, trying not to feed her ego any more.

"I guess we'll have to drive until we run out of gas." Honey hums. "Or until we find another car."

Sean pulls out his sketchbook.

"Dear diary, today Hun made me blush like a tomato, uwu supercute." Honey says in a lower pitch than usual, mocking him. Honey laughs.

Sean rolls his eyes.

"Being with Honey reminds me of Daniel. Fuck."

He looks out the window, to the passing trees.

"It's quiet. I have to get used to the ringing." He doodles himself looking out a car window with a bored expression.

"Miss you, Daniel."

"Is this how a single mother feels like?" Honey asks. "I don't know what to say to you sometimes."

Sean shakes his head. "Maybe." He closes the notebook with a clap.

"I noticed you draw a lot." Honey smiles. "It's cute. My little artist."

"I doubt I'm qualified for the 'artist' title." He looks out the window.

"Dude, you need to have more confidence in your art." Honey sighs. "I peeked once and I thought it was good."

"You...peeked?" He tried to hide his panicked expression. He wrote about Honey a lot, embarrassing things too.

"Yeah." She waved him off. "I just saw the diner drawing. Is that—is that how you see me?"
