Summary: During 4x3, instead of trusting Killian and letting him in, Emma pushes him away. The next morning she wakes up in a strange house to a very big shock. Killian fights for Emma and tries to break her walls down.

As the moon shined down on them and the silence of the world around them filled their ears, their lips touched. What Killian just said swirled around Emma's head. You don't have to worry about me, Love. I'm a survivor. Part of her wanted to believe him, to trust him and to let him. But she just couldn't. She'd never felt this way about anyone before. Killian meant so much to her and she just couldn't lose him. And dating her was like a death sentence. If anything to happened to him, she'd be left completely broken, a shell of what she used to be. It was better if they just stayed friends. At least that way, she'd still keep his eyes in her life. God, those eyes. From the moment her eyes had met them, she'd been taken away. And even though Emma hadn't wanted to admit it, she had started to fall in love. Fall in love with Killian Jones. With Captain Hook. And now she had the chance to be with him.

And those damn walls were beginning to come down and that scared Emma. She couldn't get hurt again. And that's why she could never be with Killian. Emma stepped back and pushed Killian away. His face fell and pain seeped into his eyes. He felt heartbroken.

"I'm sorry but I can't do this." she said. His expression was like a dagger to Emma's heart. He looked like a puppy dog that had just been abandoned by their owner. He looked to be in so much agony. And Emma was causing that agony. It was all her fault. She couldn't bear to look at him any longer. As she started to walk away, her eyes swam and a few tears trickled down the side of her face.

"Swan!" Killian screamed, sounding completely and utterly devastated. He couldn't believe she was giving up on them, after all they'd been through. Because it was over. Emma had pushed him away.

That night, Emma cried herself to sleep and was plagued with nightmares all about Killian. She woke up multiple times in a cold sweat. And when she woke up in the morning, she had a splitting headache. She sighed and rubbed her head as all the memories from last night came flooding back. She felt awful. Why did she do it? If she hadn't, she could be in his arms right now. She could be kissing him. She could be happy. But she wasn't. Cursing herself, Emma opened her eyes and slid out of bed. She gasped in shock as she looked around. Where the hell was she? This wasn't her room and it wasn't anywhere in her parents house. Emma groaned and crept out of the room. Had someone kidnapped her? The house was fairly big and was actually quite nice. She got to the top of stairs and gasped once. There was a picture of her, holding a baby. For the second time, she was questioning her memory. Emma didn't remember taking this photo.

She finished walking down the stairs, ready for a fight. She was ready to hurt whoever kidnapped her. Emma heard movement and headed into the large kitchen area. She was stunned at who awaited her. "Morning Love! Pancakes are nearly ready." Hook.

Now, she was more confused than ever. "What the hell are you doing?" she exclaimed angrily. His eyes widened.

"Making pancakes.....for breakfast." he said slowly.

"What is this place? Where am I?" she asked. Killian's face fell and he furrowed his brow. He walked to Emma and placed his hand on her arm.

"Swan, are you okay? Are you ill?" he asked worriedly. "Why do you even care?" she asked. Emma had pushed him away. She had broken his heart. So, why did he still care about her?

"I'm fine. I just want to know where am I?" Killian scanned her face and all he found was confusion and pain. "Sit down, Love. I'm going to get Regina. So we can figure out what's wrong with you." he said. Emma gave an annoyed laugh and rolled her eyes.
