Gwen woke up the next morning realizing if it weren't for the sun shining through her closed curtains she probably would of slept half of the day away. One thing about this pregnancy was that she was always extremely tired or hungry. Here lately she felt like she had the appetite of a cow. She loved everything and by everything she meant endless pies and bread. But to her it was her son that liked it and she told Poll she was now eating for two.

She threw her legs over the bed and her feet barely touched the cold wood floor causing a slight shiver to send down her spine. Looking forward she looked at her tired reflection in the mirror and every piece of hair that was flying in twenty different directions. She stood examining herself to see if anyone could really notice the new life growing inside of her. Standing sideways and fully relaxed she rubbed her stomach and to much relief you could yet tell a difference unless you touched her stomach.

John had invited her to Cheltenham Races so they could spend the day together and had warned her in advance that he had a little work to do but then they could enjoy the afternoon together. Gwen enjoyed every moment with him and always felt there wasn't enough hours in the day for the two to spend together. She decided on her most beautiful blue dress as she slid it over her slip and smiled in the mirror at the beauty of it. She also had a hat to match which made picking out an outfit for race day much easier. Not feeling like making too much of a fuss, she rolled her hair up into a simple bun and pinned it tight. Just as the last pin went in she heard a knock at the door. Grabbing her purse she ran down the stairs in a hurry because she didn't want to keep John waiting. She got to the door and a goofy smile spread across Johns face.

"Well don't you look beautiful as always." John grinned at her. Gwen blushed at the compliment and realized it was something she would probably never get used too.

"You look rather handsome yourself sweetheart." Gwen smiled at John. John offered his arm as she grabbed onto it and he lead her to the over sized truck. "Oh, we are riding in this."

"Yeah umm... we have a little job at the races, nothing big and had to throw a few of them in the back." John mumbled.

"It is okay. So am I up front or in the bank?" Gwen eyed the truck curiously. John scrunched his face and made a silly face at her.

"Don't be silly, you are up front with me and Arthur." John chuckled. He kept her arm in his as he guided her to the truck. He swung open the passenger door as it revealed a smiling Arthur. Gwen grabbed the door as she stepped up on the step and slowly pulled herself in. John keeping watch from behind her making sure she wouldn't slip and fall.

"Well 'ello love. Beautiful day innit?" Arthur smiled at her. Gwen chuckled as John scoot in close next to her and wrapped his long, muscly arm around her. Gwen giving John a small smile in return.

"It is gorgeous today Arthur. Perfect day for race day." Gwen said. Arthur shooting John a worried glare as he started the short drive to the races.

"About that love. Umm, Arthur and I and a few of the guys have got to deal with the Lee boys." John stated in hopes that she would brush it off as no big deal.

"Deal with them?" Gwen asked questionably. Her eyes moving back and forth between Arthur and John in utter confusion. John for once looked at her completely speechless and looked at Arthur for help through his pleading eyes.

"Well Gwen, ya see, we gotta rough them up a bit. They are causing trouble for us and a few of the others at the race tracks." Arthur blurted out. He was nervous around her and Gwen found it funny. He gripped the steering wheel as he caused his knuckles to turn white.

"Arthur, fucking relax." Gwen giggled. "I am not stupid, I have known you all my whole life and do you all think I am that clueless?"

Johns arm instantly relaxed around her shoulder and Gwen reached over reassuringly holding his big hand in hers. Arthur let out a nervous chuckle and stared straight at the road as he hit a bump. Gwen felt a wave of nausea hit and she closed her eyes praying to not throw up right in Johns lap. Unfortunately John instantly noticed.
