Chapter 4

Hello I'm back with chapter 4 hope you enjoy

"Please" He pleaded. I stood there shocked and I was unsure of what to do but what's the worst that could happen actually I'm going to not think about that.
"Yes but you have to take me to the mall today because I didn't drive to school, so when will the surf lessons start?" I answer
"Thank you so much riley, I will take you to the mall and I think we should start the lessons Saturday afternoon" He says beaming. We made our way to the front of the school again and went to his pickup truck. When I got in to the passenger's seat I turned on the radio and Taylor swifts song 'Bad Blood' came on Brandon didn't seem to care about the song choice so I just started singing, by the end of the song Brandon was looking at me with awe.
"Keep your eyes on the Road" I say cheekily.
"Um we're here and where did you learn to sing like that you sounded so good" He compliments me.
"Well my mum was a good singer and I used to perform at open mics in Atlanta" I say I can feel my eyes getting watery just when I talk about her.
"Riley its ok you can cry just let it all out its okay Rye" he says using my old nickname.
"Hey can you drive me home I'm just not feeling the best sorry for wasting your time" I say and we drive to my house in silence he drops me off and go to my room and spend the rest of the night watching pretty little liars on Netflix I then decide to watch something different so I watch my mum's favourite movie the bucket list, as I am watching it I decide that I am going to make a bucket list and hopefully this will distract me from my mum and my goal will be to finish them all by the end of this year which means I have five months to get eleven thing done

Learn to Surf

Start a YouTube channel or Blog

Go swimming at midnight

Have a paint fight

Dye my hair

Travel overseas

Go to a concert

Kiss in the rain

Go scuba diving

Have a bonfire and sleep under the stars

Go to a drive in cinema

I wake up early and get up and decide to go for a morning run so I chuck on some running shorts and a singlet and start to run down the beach with my I pod on blasting Vance joy's song 'First time'. When I start to get tired I head back to the house. When I run up the stairs and open my bedroom door I see Brandon sitting in my desk chair.
"Brandon why are you in my room and what are you looking at?" I question.
"Well your brother matt let me in and you made a bucket list?" He answers.
"Um yea" I say feeling embarrassed.
"Can I help you finish this by the end of the year, it can be pay back for you being my fake girlfriend you know" He says.
"You can help but you can't tell anyone" I say.
"I think we should get the sixth one done today" he says and I look down at the list.
"Dyeing hair sounds good to me lets go to the mall but first I will shower and get changed can you wait down stairs for me" He nods and I do my usual morning routine. When I get down stairs I see Brandon talking to penny.
"I'm sorry I'm going to have to take Brandon away from you Penny" I say and Brandon says goodbye to penny and we hop in my car and drive to the mall for the second time this week. I head straight to the hair dressers and make an appointment. Before I get my hair dyed we decide to go to Starbucks. I order a caramel Frappuccino.
"So what colour are you going to dye your hair" Brandon asks.
"Um... I think like blue ombre I saw it in a magazine it looks cool" I say. When we finish our Starbucks we make our way to the hair dressers, as we are walking Brandon spots someone that looks vaguely recognise. He quickly grabs my hands. I hesitate but I intertwine my fingers with his. I feel myself smile,
"Hey Bro you weren't actually laying" The dude said. Brandon talks to him about football or something while I just zoned out.
"Hey Brandon I'm going to be late for my appointment you can just go somewhere while I'm at the salon I don't want to bore you" I say.
" Sure Babe" he replies, to be completely honest I could have stayed there for another half hour but I had to buy blue hair dye. I made my way to target and got some for 15 dollars I now have to run to the salon because it's like five minutes till my appointment I rush in and grab a seat and check Instagram I see a photo that Katy posted of her and my ex, to be honest with you we are not really friends anymore because she turned into a 'female dog' I have called her like seven times and she doesn't answer I'm still in contact with Blake I asked about her but Blake says he is no longer friends with her as well he says she is trying to get more popular now since I'm gone.
"Miss Jenner" M thoughts get interrupted by a middle aged lady. I get up and sit in the chair.
"So what would you like today" she asked politely
"Um I know it sounds complicated but could you dye my hair black and make the tips blue like ombre though it's okay I brought my own dye and it's okay if you can't" I say quietly trying not to sound demanding.
"Oh honey its fine you're the last appointment anyway it least you're not like the person yesterday who wanted her raven black hair white blond in an hour" I laugh and give her the blue dye and she gets started with my hair. Once I'm done with my hair I immediately hug her and thank her I also give her an extra tip. I take a photo and post it on Instagram I text Brandon to come and pick me up and we leave the shops.
"Wow your hair looks great you can tick one thing off the bucket list now are you up to go surfing" He says getting excited.
"Hell yeah!"
