The Deal & a Bucketlist

Chapter 6

It is now September and I haven't been able to complete anything else on my bucket list I have just uploaded my 15th video on YouTube a cover of all of these stars by Ed sheeran. I know have 5000 Subscribers the word got spread around quick.
I get a knock on my door bringing me back to reality and I see a heavily pregnant penny standing in the doorway the twins is due in a month.
"Can you come shopping with me tonight I know it's a school night but can you come please Matt is working" she asks.
" of course I will come I have finished my homework already" I get up and grab my purse and put on my beanie over my slowly fading blue ombre hair. I am wearing an oversized black sweater and blue skinny jeans with my favourite vans.
We hop in penny's new car because her mini was too small for 2 booster seats. But anyway as we are driving to the mall we sing loudly to one direction. When we get there penny and I make a beeline for 'baby's r us' we get a trolley knowing we will be getting a lot I see Penny looking at a list she had written.
"To the stroller section" I say sounding like a little kid. We walk over there and we pick out a huge double pram. We then got some nappies; I got two little onesies and two teddy bears for my nephew and niece. We payed for it all and made an exit. We start walking to the food court.
"Could you be kind to get me a strawberry smoothie Riley" Penny asks.
I nod and walk over to a smoothie shop. I line up and as I am about to order my phone starts ringing.
"Hello is this Riley Jenner" A woman asks.
"Yes" I reply.
"I'm Tanya from Universal Music"
"Have you got the wrong number"
"Well does your brother have your wrong number. Well I am ringing to see if you were interested inbreeding me tomorrow at my office at around 10 I will text you the address" she says.
"Ok I will be there" I promised. I quickly got two mango smoothies
"Um riley that's not a strawberry smoothie that's a mango one?" Penny whined like a two year old.
"Well I just got a call from Tanya from Universal Music saying she wants to meet with me tomorrow" I say full of excitement.
"O.M.G! Really we have to get you some clothes" penny says, before I can say anything penny gets up and gestures that I should follow, I get up and follow anyway. We head to some clothing store; once we got there she made me try on so many outfits. As I put on the outfit I look in the. I think this is the one. I'm wearing and dress where the torso is white lace and there is a light aqua high low skirt.
"That is the one even though it's plain you can wear some heels or flats" Penny says, I get changed back into my normal clothes. It is like nine pm. So we decide to go home as soon as I hit my bed I fall asleep.

"Riley gets up now you have a meeting and you need to look presentable." I hear Penny shouts across the hall.
"I'm up I'm up" I say and jump in the shower I then go and put on my new outfit once I'm finished Penny barges in the door.
"Ok sit down in your desk chair I'm going to do your make-up and hair." She says I have learnt before don't mess with a pregnant lady so I do what she says. I can trust her with my hair and make-up because she actually is a makeup artist and hair stylist. So I let her do my hair a high bun still showing some of my blue hair she does minimal makeup which I am happy with by time she is done we have to leave so I take an apple and packet of gum and I'm on my. I reach the studio place just in time with five minutes spare insight down in the waiting room.
"Miss Jenner Tanya will see you now." The receptionist said and pointed to a white. I knocked just in case and the door swings open.
"Hi I'm Tanya I spoke to you on the phone would you like to take a seat." I take a seat opposite of hers.
"So me and my team have seen your videos and think you are really talented we would like to sign you to a record label but first do you have any original songs" She asks
"Yes but only a few" I try to contain my excitement.
"We thinking if we got some artists approval we could make a cover album or an original ep. I know this is a lot to take in but which would you prefer." She says
"Well to be honest I like the sound of cover album but is it possibly to put a few original songs by me" I ask.

"Yes we could but we can't really discuss now but can you come in Monday with a list of 10 songs you would like to cover in the album and as many original songs" she asks.
"Sounds good to me I guess I will see you Monday" I say and exit the room. I go to my car and decide to head straight home. When I get home penny insists I tell her everything

. Once I'm done I head up to my room. And start the list of cover songs and original.
