I remember feeling like I was married to Harry.
Being a teenager and feeling like your soul is at home with another is truly something amazing.

It was day that we cooked dinner together, just the two of us.
He had the dorm to himself for the weekend.

It was quite hilarious actually, neither of us had a clue what we were doing and we both pretended we did.

We started off by going to the store to get ingredients. I loved going places with him. We could be anyone we wanted to be.

I was staring at a can of Cream of Potato soup when Harry's hands covered mine and the can. I looked up to him and he had the biggest smile on his face.

"What are you smiling about, weirdo" I said, playfully picking on him was my favorite. It always got the best reactions from him.

"We get to shop all the time together like this when we are married" he replied, still smiling.

married.
The word struck like lightening that sent thousands of butterflies rushing into my stomach and the world seemed to slow down.

"M-married?"

"Yes ma'am. I can't imagine not spending forever with you, Chase. Might as well put a ring on it"
He laughed and that laugh faded into that crooked smile I knew so well.
That smile that slowly became the reason I lived.

Harry was not handy in the kitchen.
He ended up disappearing into the common room as I finished up the soup to let it cook.
I wandered into the common room to find that he had dragged the table into there, turned off the lights, and had a candle lit in the middle of the table.

I stopped in my tracks and covered mouth with my hands in surprise.

He was a goofball and I couldn't handle it.

Grinning from ear to ear he pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead.
"Every night, love. It'll be just like this"

Every moment with Harry felt like a dream come true. He was everything I could've ever wanted. He was everything I could've asked for.
He was everything I didn't deserve yet I deserved at the same time.

"Dinner time?" Harry asked
"Of course" I replied As Harry scooped me up into his arms and carried me to the kitchen.

This boy became my home.
My soul was at peace.
