Dream II Pictures And Scarves

Authors Note: I planned on writing a Skeppy scenario. However, I decided to work on Dream instead. It seems people want him more so I'll give the readers what they want <3

The sun breaks through the cracks, lighting up the dirt path ahead, decorated with outgrown roots, wildflowers, and fallen leaves that crunch beneath their feet. At the end of the trail would lead to a land filled with homes. A neighborhood to be specific. The houses stood next to each other side by side, constructed with brick and wood. All homes were similar, big or small yet the materials used to build them weren't any different.

Y/N made her way down the path, admiring mother nature. Grabbing the phone out of her pocket and snapping a photo. Another memory was saved. She placed her phone safely back in her pocket admiring the trees near her. She eyed at the tree trunks closely and found markings on one of them. Carved names to be specific. Y/N  & Clay. This was the spot.

The sticks fall as she climbed up the tree. Branch by branch nothing but worry that one stick could suddenly snap, unbalancing her stance and then drop dead on the ground. Or at least have an injured back since she wasn't that high up. Being on the very top of the tree felt like you could see the world. A smell of timidness hovers in the air, no clue of what is up ahead or what's yet to come.

The air shifted, changing the pace of direction. A certain someone had arrived to the scene. As expected climbing up the branches more swiftly and silently unlike her, a person appeared from the shadowy trees that kept their face hidden. Wearing a white mask that covered the upper part of his face, it had black markings that formed a comforting looking smile.

"The view is beautiful from up here isn't it?" Y/N smiled as she rested her head on her knees.

"It sure is..." He smiled as he stared at her.

Clay then pulled something out of his pocket. He grunted in frustration as he struggled for a few moments. On the palm of his hands held a green scarf, that matched the color of his eyes. A simple gift and at the time that's all it was, a scarf. It may have cost him more then a couple of bucks, maybe none at all, there's a possibility he could have sewed it all by himself.

He placed it gently in her hands allowing her to wrap it around her neck. It was about twice as long as it needed to be, it was even able to be wrapped twice around her neck when she attempted. Living the leftover scarf draped near her waist. He sighed as he tried to adjust the scarf to her liking. It was no longer draped beneath her waist. It may not be as long as before but it now looked like it was in natural length due to the adjustments.  Looking closely at the ends of the scarf, a name was sewed, Clay. Making her assume he did make it by himself.

"It's quite chilly during this time of the year, you should dress warmly." He smiled as he moved a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"I never knew you could sew." She said in a surprised tone.

"My mother taught me, she basically helped me sew a part of it... Maybe a huge portion but still! I did some of the work." He shyly rubbed his neck.

"Thank you Clay, I'll treasure this forever." Y/N smiled as she snuggled her face against the scarf. "How about we take a picture? To remember this moment forever. " Y/N pulled out her phone, preparing the camera.

"You know I don't like taking photos..." Clay nervously adjusted his mask which hid his face for a reason.

"Just one photo." Y/N pouted her lips, holding up one finger.

Clay sighed and accepted defeat immediately. He nodded, waiting for the snap of a picture to get this over with, still with the mask covering his face. Suddenly Y/N snatched the mask out of his face and placed a quick kiss on his cheek. Snapping a photo at that moment of his face that soon turned multiple shades of red. Y/N pulled away and began to giggle nonstop, returning Clay's mask in the palm of his hand. His face was now revealed to her.
