-Michael-
This is a bad idea but it's better than aimlessly trying to find that dragon who kidnapped Amelia. I'm just grateful that there's not that many around anymore. This would be a lot more dangerous, well it's still very dangerous with just a few. I glanced at Gabriel whose looking around the mountain with caution before we both slowly walk inside the cave that's on top of the mountain. It's dark in the cave but since we are angels we can see through the darkness. The first thing we saw was two people walking towards us, and I instantly knew that these are the creatures we were looking for.
"What do we have the honor of having the archangel Michael and archangel Gabriel here in our home?" The guy asks.
"We're looking for someone by the name of Amelia Fairchild." I simply tell them.
"Amelia Fairchild? We never heard of her." The guy says shrugging.
"Well we heard a dragon kidnapped her, do you know any dragon that doesn't live here?" I ask them hopefully.
Their eyes widen as they look over at each other in shock and their eyes filled knowingly. They know something and hopefully, they will tell us and help us find where this dragon is. Wherever he is he has Amelia, and for some reason, he has this thing against soulmates. I glanced around the cave and didn't see or sense any other dragons around. Are they the only ones who live here? I wonder slightly confused. I know dragons we're going extinct but they still lived together as a clan, so where are the others? I glance back at the two dragons in front of me seeing them whispering to each other before they stop and looking back towards us.
"We know who you're talking about." The woman says upsettingly.
"You do? Who is he? Do you know where he is?" I ask feeling grateful that we are getting somewhere.
"The guy you are looking for, he's our son." The guy says wrapping his arm around his wife's shoulders.
"He's your son?" Gabriel asks shock.
"Wait! Why would your son kidnap a human girl?" I ask confused.
"He used to be a good boy until his soulmate rejected him. He's never been the same ever since." The woman explains upset.
"Wait, he had a soulmate and she rejected him?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows.
"He was so heartbroken and didn't understand why she didn't want to be with him."The woman says starting to tear up.
"He wasn't the same after that. He became more aggressive instead of depressed, and he kept mumbling something about soulmates." The guy explains to us.
"Well that explains why he's going after everyone else's soulmates." I say more to myself.
"Is this Amelia girl your soulmate?" The woman asks me.
"Uh well yeah but-" I try to explain the situation, "I'm sorry our son kidnapped her, and we hope you save her in time. I don't know why his soulmate rejected him, and I know he's in so much pain from it. I can't imagine why anyone would want to reject their soulmate." The woman tells us making me feel awkward.
"Uh yeah. So do you know where your son is hiding out?" I ask changing the subject from the soulmates.
"We do not. He left here about a year ago and haven't seen him since. We can tell you his name and who his friends are if he's even still talking to them." The woman tells me.
"Thank you. We appreciate it." I tell her nodding.
"His name is Egan and he has or had two friends that he used to hang out with all the time before the rejection. Their names are Ladon and Tyson and they both live in Lilcreek." The man tells us.
