"Welcome to Los Angeles, California and the Junior Goodwill games as teams from around the world arrive to compete in both the summer and winter events." Adam and Harvey were holding hands while Harvey was practically leaning on Adam, tired from the plan ride while the rest of her team smiled and took pictures. "The USA is expected to score well in the medal count, especially in basketball, swimming, and hockey." Adam let go of Harvey's hand and threw his arm over her shoulder, letting her rest her head on his shoulder, making most of his teammates awe in response. "And there's team USA hockey led by Coach Gordon Bombay." Connie saw the two and snapped a few pictures of them, squealing in excitement. "They're looking fit and anxious to begin the competition."

..........

"Tonight's matches the second-seeded team USA against the tenth-seeded team Trinidad Tobago. This marks the first game for team USA in this double-elimination winner take all tournament. Gordon Bombay looks to have his team well in control here. They lead six to nothing." Compared to Team USA, Trinidad Tobago looked like they were still in pee weeks with their bright colored jerseys. Dwayne had the puck and passed it in between his legs to Charlie. After Charlie skated with the puck for a little bit, he passed it to Harvey, who skated down the rink. One of the players skated towards her, obviously mad that they were losing, and he looked ready to push her to the floor. The boy began to gain speed as he made his way towards Harvey, but Harvey being Harvey already had a plan. The boy was a couple feet away from her and began to lean forward when Harvey came to a complete stop and moved out of his way, letting her opponent fall forward on his face. She quickly smiled and skated towards the goal with the puck, shooting and scoring. She raised her arms and cheered as Charlie came up to her, high giving her. The whole crown was clapping and cheering for her while the rest of her teammates hugged and high fived her.

"Good job, Harv." The girl turned around and saw Adam. She smiled and pulled him into a quick hug, thanking him. But all things come to an end as she pulled away and skated towards the bench, switching with Connie. Jesse made his way down the rink, ready to shot the puck into the net when one of his opponents dove into his legs, knocking him down. Harvey stood up from the bench and leaned against the door, ready to open it just in case. Jesse just slid forward, taking out the goalie and diving head first into the net.

"Damn it." the whistle blows and the ref yells face off, but Jesse had other ideas. He skated towards the boy that knocked him down and threw his gloves on the ice.

"Hey what's your problem man?" He pushed the player backwards, but not hard enough for him to fall. Harvey rolled her eyes and facepalmed.

"USA penalty, number nine, Hall. Two minutes, roughing." Jesse made his way to the penalty box, proud of himself while the rest of his team either laughed or shook their head. Harvey smiled when she realized who coach was putting in next. She made her way to the two boys and smirked as they both nodded their heads and bumped fists. The two boys put on their bandanas and smiled at the girl in front of them. She raised both of her hands and high fived them as the skated onto the ice. Harvey watched as the "Bash Bros" began knocking down kids left and right. Dean traveled down the rink with the puck as Harvey began to cheer for him, knowing the puck was going to go into the net. Harvey cringed every time the two boys knocked someone down, poor kid.

"Take it Dean!" He quickly slapped the puck into the net, scoring. The crowd went wild as the boys made their way to the boards, bowing and thanking the crowd. All of the bowing made Harvey smile. Out of all her years of life, no one has ever been able to make Harvey smile more than the two boys.

..........

"Hey, you got a girl in the stands?" When Charlie asked the question, Adam turned his attention away from the crowd and looked at Harvey, smiling. He wasn't interested in just any girl, he was interested in Harvey. I mean they were perfect for each other. She was one of the very few girls that actually understood hockey, and she plays.

"No, scouts man, look at them." Charlie looked up from Adam and saw a small group of men closely watching the game and scribbling down notes on a notepad.

"Don't worry about scouts, Adam. Just play your best man."

..........

"Team USA loses the puck at center ice." Harvey looks up from her conversation with Jesse and saw their opponent racing down the ice, with the puck. "Here's Bellafonte across the blue line with a great move. Walks right down in front. He shoots, he scores." Harvey groans as Coach Bombay makes his way over to him.

"Harvey, I need you to switch with Luis." Harvey nodded and looked at her brother, waving him in. He nodded and switched out with his twin, happy she was getting some playing time. When Adam saw Harvey out on the ice, he was happy she was playing. He skated up to her and when she looked at him, he gave her a smile, which she returned.

"Kick ass, Harv." She nodded her head and high five Adam.

"You too Banksie."

..........

"Nearing the end of the game, Team USA with it out at center ice." Harvey got the puck and skated down the ice. "Here's The Bandit. Mendoza stick-handling in the Trinidad zone. Mendoza still with it , moves around the pile-up, gives it to Kenny Wu." Harvey quickly moves out of the way of incoming skaters and bumps into Adam, falling to the floor and hitting her arm hard on the ice.

"Shit." Adam helped Harvey up, careful not to touch her arm as she winced in pain.

"You okay, Harv?" She nodded as she fixed her pads and jersey.

"Sorry Banks." He just shook his head and smiled, telling her that it was okay and she didnt need to worry about it.

"Wu, the former figure skater, back behind the net." Kenny skates behind the net as one of the guys from the other team skated straight at him, but Kenny kneels down and skates with the puck between his legs, amazing everyone. "He ducks underneath the check. Move around the net. Its a wraparound. He scores!" Harvey raises her arms and cheers once again, making her way to her team.

"All right way to go. That wasn't a game, that was a statement." The team breaks and cheers for their nine to one win. They make their way to the locker room, ready to get out of all of their sweaty equipment. When Harvey took the pads off of her arm, she saw the brand new bruise on her elbow. She cringed at the bruise, quickly putting her tracksuit on, hoping no one sees it, but she didn't know Adam was looking right at it.

"Harv, what happened?" Harvey quickly turned around, putting her arm behind her back.

"Don't worry about me, Banksie." Adam slowly grabbed her arm and held her hand in both of his.

"That's the problem, Harv. I care about you too much not to worry."
