"Harvey, Adam, open up!" The two groaned as Harvey let go of Adam, but he didn't let go of her.
"What does he want, Harv? Tell him to go away." She smiled as she checked the time on the bedside clock. She let out a small, fuck, before trying to get out of Adam's death grip. "No, please. I'm begging you."
"It's open Char." The boy opened the door and saw the two laying in bed, holding onto each other, and making him feel bad for waking them up. "He won't let go, so it's not my fault." Charlie watched as Adam sat up, still holding onto Harvey.
"Charlie, what was so important that you had to wake up me and Harv?" Harvey sat up completely and got out of bed, getting her shoes on and throwing one of Adam's hoodies on over. "Never mind, what's so important you had to wake me up?" Charlie smiled at the tired boy as he attempted to wake up completely.
"You remember the guy with the knuckle puck, we were just going to go talk to him." Adam nodded as he laid back down and told Harvey something. She nodded her head and made her way out the door with Charlie. She closed the door and turned to Charlie. "Why isn't he saying anything about the fact that it's just me and you." Honestly, Harvey was a little confused at his question
"Well we're just friends so he has no reason to question it." Adam was honestly one of the most trusting boyfriends in the world. He put all of his trust in Harvey, especially since she has made it very clear that everyone else in her life, is just a friend and that she only loves him. To Adam, Harvey and Charlie were like the two captains of the team, and they were just doing their jobs talking to Russ. Charlie was like the captain of the Ducks and Harvey was like the captain of the new kids, so co captains.
What Harvey didn't know was Charlie had liked her. He liked her since she first got on the ice and took the puck from him. He hasn't gotten over his small crush, and he was mad he didn't say anything sooner. If we were being honest, everyone has had a crush on Harvey and or Julie at one piont or another. Dean and Averman had both addmitted to finding Julie atractive, and Adam and Charlie had admitted the same thing to Julie about Harvey.
Harvey hated awkward silence, so this was very awkward to her. "Uhm, are we going to skate there or walk?" Charlie told her that they could skate, so Harvey quickly made her way to her room where Guy and Connie were watching a movie. "Sorry Con, I just had to grab my skates."
"You're fine, Band." She smiled at the two as she made her way back down the hallway to Charlie, who already had his skates in hand.
"You ready?" She nodded her head as the two made their way outside, sitting on the curb to put them on. "So Russ said he should be at a diner a couple blocks away." The girl nodded as she tied the laces of her shoes together and threw them around her neck, letting them hang on the side. "Race you." Befor ethe girl could even comprehend what Charlie was saying, he was ten feet ahead of her. She smiled and began to move her feet as fats as they could take her. It took her a total of about a minute to catch up.
"Even with a head start, I still caught up, Spazway." He chuckled as she skated past him and down the sidewalk, jumping on and off the sides every so often.
"Take a left, Band, it should be on the right." She nodded and took the next left, looking for the diner. She finally spot it, full of boys on their skates.
"Shit, thats a lot of people." Charlie laughed as they both made their way inside, looking around the diner for Russ. They finally spotted him sittign in between a whole bunch of boys. When they heard the bell on the door chime, their attention turned towards them. "Char, theyre all looking at us." He told her not to worry about it and nudged her to walk with him towards them. "Fine, you owe me food."
"Deal." They both skated over to the table and stood in front of all of the boys, most of them looking at Harvey with smirks on her face. "Russ, we have an offer." The boy looked up at the two and smiled.
"And what would the offer be?" While Russ talked to Charlie, some of the boys talked to Harvey.
"You're very pretty, you know that, babe? You single?" She rolled her eyes and looked down at her skates. The tall boy leaned with his elbows on the table.
"I know, my boyfriend tells me that a lot. And no, I'm not single." The boy glared at her and turned his attention to Russ and Charlie, clearly not liking the fact that he had just gottn rejected.
"You're telling me that you have no slots open, but you want me to play on your team?" Charlie looked at Harvey and nodded. "That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard."
"We'll have a spot open for you, after I give up mine." Harvey's head snapped in Charlie's direction, confused as to what he just said. "You're a great player and you deserve to play on our team." Harvey put her hand on Charlie's arm and pulled him away to talk.
"Char, are you sure? Absolutely sure?" He nodded his head and Harvey sighed. "Okay." They both looked at Russ, waiting for his answer.
"Okay, I'll do it."
