The funeral for Harvey and Luis' dad was a weak after the JV-Varsity game, so Harvey wasn't ready at all for the game. It's been a day since she had found out, and she hasn't gone to class, and she hasn't spoken a word to anyone, not even Adam. He honestly had though she was mad at him, and he knew that if she was mad, she would want space.

"Luis." The boy turned and faced his sister's boyfriend. "Is there a reason Harvey isn't talking to me?" Luis nodded his head and looked at the ground.

"I'm surprised she hasn't told you yet. I honestly thought you knew." Adam shook his head, telling Luis he had no clue what he was talking about. "Our dad was in an accident. The funeral's in a week, and my mom asked if you would come, for Harvey. She bought you a ticket too, just in case you could." Adam looked at Luis in shock, mostly because she hadn't talked to him about anything. He ran to her room and didn't stop once till he got there. Adam knocked on the door and hoped his girlfriend would answer.

"Harv, I know you're in there, and I'm worried. Luis told me what happened and I'm sorry. Let me come in so I can be there for you, Harv. Please." She opened the door and there she was, his girlfriend wrapped up in his clothing, crying. Tears rolled down her warm cheeks as he pulled her close to him, holding her in his arms. "I'm so sorry."

..........

"Fasten your seatbelts and hold onto your hats, everyone." Harvey looked at her brother who gave her a reassuring smile as they skated around the ice. "Oh, do we have a special showdown for you. David versus Goliath in a Titanic grudge match. The winner can truly say that he is the symbol of Eden hall." The girl had her father's name now taped on her stick under a thin layer of tape. Today, she wasn't playing for anyone else but her father. "Tonight the Eden Hall varsity Warriors do bottle the Eden hall freshman Ducks. That's right folks, look at those uniforms. The sign of the Duck is here at Eden hall for at least one night." Harvey skated towards the three boys that were standing by the boards as Charlie lifted his helmet.

"This is for Hans." He looked at his best friend and pulled her into a side hug. "And for Javi." She smiled as she pulled away from him and skated to her brother, who also had their dad's name on his stick.

"You ready?" He looked up and smiled at his sister.

"As ready as I'll ever be." The rest of the Ducks skated towards them, making a big circle, touching the ice as they skated, in honor of their honorary ducks.

"It appears they're paying homage to two of their departed friends, Hans and Mr. Mendoza. The touching of the ice is a Norwegian symbol of respect." The ducks broke apart as Luis and Harvey met in the middle for a bone crushing hug. "Their you have it folks, family." They pulled away as Harvey whacked her brother's helmet.

"Let's play hockey, just like dad wanted us to." They skated towards the bench and stood in between all of their friends as they put their hands in the middle.

"On three." Coach Orion looked around the group. "Quack." Everyone cheered as the first line made their way onto the ice. Dwayne, Julie, Harvey. Charlie, Fulton, and Adam skated to their spots. Adam was on right wing while Harvey was on left. He looked at her and nodded his head, telling her everything would be okay.

..........

"Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go! Hey, watch it asshole!" Harvey skated as fast as her legs could take her down the ice with the puck in front of her and Cole and Jesse on her tail. Luis was in front of her shoving Derek out of the way, and when he did, he pushed Derek into Scooter, clearing the net. "She shoots, she scores!" Harvey raised her arms up, cheering as her teammates skated towards her.

"Yeah, Harv!" She high-fived all of her friends as the crowd cheered. She had scored the first goal of the game, and she was proud. The buzzer blew as the ducks made their way to the locker room. They were all beat, after taking cheap shot after cheap shot.

"They're cheap shooting us to death." Harvey nodded in agreement with her brother as she iced her shoulder from a hit she had taken by Rick.

"It's gonna take a miracle for us to win coach." Just as he finished, the door slammed open and in came walking one Dean Portman.

"Dean Portman is awarded a full athletic and academic scholarship to the Eden Hall Academy. I had this lying around in my house in Chicago. My attorney said I should sign it. I agreed." Harvey, Ken, and Fulton looked at each other with smirks as they all ran towards Dean, pulling him into a bone crushing group hug. "Haha I missed you guys too. It's official boys, I'm back!" Everyone pulled away from him as Harvey held her hand up.

"Let's go dance on their skulls, D." He smiled and high fived her before getting his gear on. The ducks were back and no one was going to stop them.

"Here we go into the third period of a well fought out battle. Oh look, here come the Ducks. Hey wait a second, isn't that Dean Portman?" The ducks skated onto the ice, cheering. Dean made his way towards Harvey, who was talking to Cole, trash talking back and forth. "Hey it looks like the other Bash is back and he's brought the ducks a renewed spirit."

"If you so much as hurt someone again, I will shove my foot so far up your-" Dean quickly put his hand over her mouth as he smirked at the blonde in front of him. Harvey licked the inside of his hand, making him pull it away in disgust as she continued to glare at the blonde. "Look Cole, big brother's back. You wanna tell him what you've been telling me? That you could kick his ass whenever or wherever." She began to skate away as Dean looked at the giant blonde in front. "Have fun out there while you can, Cole. You might not have any perfect ribs after." The whistle blew and Cole rammed his way towards Dean.

"Let's see what you've got bash brother." Cole skated towards a very smiley looking Dean, and Dean crouched down, shoving Cole over his shoulder and into the glass, breaking it. Harvey and Fulton skated toward the now broken glass. They all laughed as the referee pulled them away to continue the game. The whistle blew once again as Dean began to push and shove players, doing what he does best.

"Oh, yeah, you like that, huh? Come on, here you go."

"Ladies and gentleman. The bash brothers are here to stay." Charlie and Harvey switched spots and Harvey made her way to the bench next to Adam. "This is more Ike it. The ducks are finally starting to dish out. Oh the Bash brothers are really going to town." Harvey's eyes widened as her brother hit the boards because he wasn't able to stop. Portman had barely pushed Derek but still got the whistle because Derek fell.

"Twenty One. Two minutes. Hooking." Harvey groaned and rolled her eyes as they ref skated Dean to the penalty box. He was back home, in the box. Everyone booed the ref as Dean complained.

"Alright then, do you want to see a penalty? I'll show you a penalty." Dean cheered and screamed at the crowd with a smile on his face. "That was a dive, ref!" He threw his gloves and helmet on the floor and pulled off his jersey, making everyone cheer and go crazy. As the band played, Harvey laughed at the boy in front of her. "Charlie, don't give up man. That ain't tough." He quickly began to take off the rest of his pads, along with his shirt. Harvey felt a hand cover her eyes, blocking Dean from her sight.

"Yeah, you're not looking at that." She laughed as she moved his hand and turned to him.

"You act like I like it." She turned her head and saw Guy doing the exact same thing to Connie making her laugh.
