"Ms. Kim Jisoo."
Someone called that made me stoop up. "Yes?" I saw the middle aged woman who guided me here awhile ago standing right in front of me.
"It's your turn. Please proceed inside to meet the CEO." She said, I nodded at her before I sighed heavily. Why do I have to do this? Ugh! This not what I want! I asked our Entertainment for a drama or movie project not for me to apply as a secretary!
I breath in and out before I held the door knob. I was about to twist it open when the former secretary came and stopped me. I looked at her asking, she gave me a smile before talking. "Hi, you're the new secretary right?" I nodded. "I just want to tell you some of the things you should do when you're with the CEO, can we talk for a while? I'll excuse you from the boss." Well, I guess I got no choice.
"Ah... Sure." I smiled. She nodded and entered the CEO's office. I waited there for almost five minutes before she came out. We both head to the cafe so we can have our talk there.
"I am Bae Joohyun or you can call me Irene, leader of Girl group Red Velvet." She showed her hand asking for a handshake. I don't want to be rude so I gladly accept.
"Kim Jisoo of Blackpink." I smiled. "We always met in some events like music awards, right? You're also Jennie's friend."
"Yeah, nice meeting you, Jisoo. I am Mr. Kim's former secretary. I resigned as his secretary because Jennie asked me to be her secretary instead." She said and that surprised me.
"I bet you know that she doesn't trust anyone except for her friends and family right?" I nodded at her question. Yeah, ever since we became friends on our high school days she already have her trust issue around her. "That's why she asked me to be her secretary and of course I agreed her offer was big. Plus, she's also my dear friend way back in our college days." We order some coffee first before we look for some seats.
"Let's sit here." I said, she nodded and we sat down.
"So, here's some things you have to do. First here's the address of his house, you'll go there because he wants to go on work with his secretary beside him. You can also cook breakfast for him, tie his necktie, prepare his suit, fix hair and everything. You are working for him for only one month right? Sue your Entertainment for making you do this." She chuckled.
"Do I really have to go in his house everyday?" I asked, she nodded.
"Yeah, he likes it when someone is cooking for him and making coffee for him. Uh, let me just tell you that every time the board meeting ended, expect him to be ill-tempered. He's always mad and frustrated, So no one bothers entering his office." She explained that made my mouth formed into 'o' shape.
"Even you, unnie? You can't enter?" I am curious, okay?
"Yeah, like literally no one." She chuckled. Irene unnie explained a lot before the woman earlier came inside the cafe to fetch me.
CEO can't really wait for me huh?
"Thanks for the tip, Irene unnie." I bowed down. "Please take care of our, Jendeukie. Just don't tease her on her ex boyfriend or else you'll get your resignation letter early." I laughed.
"Oh yeah, I know about that." She chuckled, We both bid our goodbyes to each other before the woman and I entered the elevator. I saw her pressed the 7th floor. So, CEO's office was in the 7th floor? I didn't saw it when I arrived here earlier because this woman only guides me till I reached the CEO's office.
"Uhm, can I ask why the Boss's office is only at the 7th floor? As far as I know that most of the time their office should be on higher floors." I curiously asked.
"Ahmm, his birthday was December 4--"
"What?!" I was shocked to hear the birthday. When I realized that I raised my voice, I immediately bowed down. "I'm sorry, I got shocked." I apologized.
It was my boy bestfriend no ex boyfriend's birthday, but I'm just getting anxious. My god, Jisoo! A lot of people have a birthday in December 4! So, calm the hell down.
"So I was saying, his birthday was December 4 and he mentioned that his first love birthdate is 3. He added the both of them and it equals to 7, that's when he decided to make 7th floor his office." The lady explained, I nodded at her and shut my mouth close till we reached the right floor.
"Your desk was found inside the CEO's office, definitely you're going to be with him all day. When you entered inside bowed down at him and greet him, okay? Goodluck on your first day." She tapped my shoulder before leaving me alone in front of the door.
I sighed. Why did I suddenly become nervous?! I am not likes this earlier! Damn, no Jisoo. Aish, calm down. I knock on the door thrice before I entered his office. I closed the door and immediately bowed down in front of his desk.
"Goodmorning, Mr. Kim. I am your new secretary for one month." I said still bowing down to him.
I heard his chuckled that started my heart to beat so darn fast. "Why one month of being my secretary when you can be my forever wife?"
Fuck, no. This can't be. Please tell me I am just dreaming. Please tell me this is not true. I am not angry or what it's just I am avoiding him because of what happened two years ago.
I bravely stood up straight that made me saw him. I almost dropped my jaw when our eyes met. Indeed. He is indeed the CEO of this company... And what?! I am his secretary?!
"Please stop your Daddy jokes, Mr. Kim Seokjin." I awkwardly smile at him.
Yes, he is. He's really my boss, I am gonna stay and work for him for one whole fucking month. Is this fate? Coincidence? Destiny? Or what? After our break up two years ago, we didn't bother each other anymore.
