Chapter 21 // It's okay

I woke up around 7 a.m when the sunlight entered through the window. My curtains are already tied up and Jin wasn't beside me anymore.
So, I have decided to sat up straight and go to the edge of my bed only to find out there's a written note on my bedside table. I reached out for the small paper and read what's written on it.
"I'm leaving early, sorry I didn't tell you personally because I don't want to wake you up. Mom called earlier and she wants me to go to our office ASAP. I think I won't attend all the classes today. Eat a lot, okay? Take care, I love you!"

A smile immediately form in my lips even though I did not agreed for him to absent today because I just want to be with him the whole day. It's our 3rd Monthsary and I want to celebrate it with him. But then, I guess he was busy that he can't afford giving at least a little time for this day.
It's okay, I understand. At least he's still sweet and caring.
I wore my soft fluffy slippers before I fix my bed and go straight to the bathroom. I took a warm bath for about 30 minutes. After that, I did my skincare routine, minimal make up and wore my a pair of blouse and skirt.
When I'm all done, I have decided to go out so I could eat breakfast and to my surprise there's a food already prepared in the table making me smile.
Psh. He even made me breakfast just to make sure I'd eat breakfast for real. He knows I'm on diet so I usually only drink coffee in the morning and it brothers him so much.
I ate all the food he prepared, I also washed the dishes when I'm finished eating. I brushed my teeth then wore my socks before wearing my black shoes and bag. Preparing to leave.
Actually we don't have morning class for today, but we have a practice on our drama club. Sana called for a meeting first before we start a practice. I think Sana badly needs my assistance since Jin won't be there for today's meeting.
While I was heading to the parking lot my phone rang. I checked who it was and it's Lisa.
"Hello?"
"Unnie! Can you fetch me please? I missed the bus and now I can't find any taxi in here." She sounds crying.
"Okay, wait for me. I'll be there." I said as I opened my car's door. "Also, order some coffee for Jennie. She texted me earlier that she wasn't feeling well. So we'll fetch her too."
"Got it, I'll go now. Drive safely, unnie! Annyeong!" She said before ending the call.
I closed the door as I put my phone on the other seat. I wore my seat belt and roared the engine to life. I slowly and safely drive to the parking's lot exit but when I saw a little girl running I immediately stepped on the break making my head bump on the steering wheel a bit.
Damn! That was so close!
I was heavily catching my breath as I felt myself nervous. Right now, I was holding my head where it bump a while ago. I searched for the little girl and saw her standing still in front of my car.
She was staring at me darkly and it was scary. She was holding a bear on her left hand while his other hand were hidden on her back. Her looks sent shiver to me, to be honest her outfit and face looks creepy. But I have to ask if I had hurt her.
So, I slowy go out of the car and went to her. She wasn't moving on her spot, she is just following all of my moves.
I held her arms and brought her to the side. "Hey... Are you alright?" I asked in which she nodded. "Are you hurt? Where? Please tell me." I asked but she only shook her head as an answer.
