Chapter 20 // Emergency

I shut my eyes closed as I heard the harshly crashing sound that echoed through my ears.
No... My Jin...
Tears continued to stream down my cheeks, I only stopped when I heard a familiar voice shouted.
"Come here you, fucker!"
I slowly opened my eyes, trying to look up so I could see what's going on. And to my surprise Jin wasn't lying on the ground pooled by its own blood, instead, he was running not far away catching the culprit who's driving the red car.
My mouth hang wide open when I saw two cars crashed to each other. My heart started beating so damn fast when the other car was very familiar to me.
Shit...
No... Please don't tell me I am thinking very wrong...
I slowly stood up while I stopped myself from crying again. My knees started trembling too when I keep getting closer to the crashed cars.
The white Benz car was the car I rode earlier, it was the one who brought me here and now that car is crashed against the other one making its front part squeezed and deformed. Basically, in that situation no one would survive that.
I felt like I was washed with iced cold water that I immediately froze in my spot when I saw Jeonghan lying on the ground, unconscious.
"J-jeonghan... H-hey..." I started to get panicked when he wasn't moving. Not even a bit. "Yah! Jeonghan! This is not funny, wake up, please." I tried shaking him and even held his head. But my eyes widen when I felt a liquid in my hands.
My hands were shaking as I looked down in my both hands. It was covered with blood making me burst in crying. "Jeonghan!" I cried.
"B-baby..." It was Jin, he tried pulling me up. "Baby, ambulance is already here. Let them take care of him." He said.
I nodded before hugging Jin tight. "It's my fault... It's my fault..." I kept crying on his chest.
"Shhhh, don't blame yourself, baby. It's not your fault, stop crying... I love you..." He kissed my head as he gently caressed my back.
"If only I have... If only I have stopped that fucking bitch." I kept crying and crying as guilt slowly building up inside me.
"Let's go, let's just go to the hospital and follow them." Jin said making me nodded a bit.
I heard the ambulance left so we went to Jin's car on the parking lot near the crossing road. We are both silent till we arrived at the hospital. We asked for Jeonghan and they said that he was currently in emergency room.
So, Jin and I waited outside. Waiting for the emergency lights to turn off. "Please tell me what's going on? Why did it happened. As far as I can remember that car's target was me, right?" Jin asked as he looked at me.
I nodded as an answer. "Can you tell me what exactly happened?" I asked while I dried my tears out.
"I was crossing the road when I saw you panicked looking at my left side and there I saw the red car heading towards me. I was about to get hitted by that car when that white Benz car appeared. But before it can even crashed, Jeonghan jumped out of the car. I think he slightly bumped his head that made him unconscious." Jin explained.
I immediately stood up when the emergency door opened revealing the doctor and the emergency lights are now turned off meaning to say they're already done.
