TRIGGER WARNING FOR THIS CHAPTER!

I am aware I should have put a TW at the beginning of this story, and I will put it in the description of the story and in the first chapter. This TW is in effect for the rest of the story as well. I don't know how many graphic scenes I may write and I don't want to trigger anyone. Please be safe! Remember, if you need talk, just DM me.

Percy's POV:

I laid on my bedroom floor, my knees clutched to my chest. I tried to slow my rabid breathing. I was trying to keep myself from falling into the darkness. I blinked slowly, and was suddenly somewhere new.

I was laying on Gabe's bedroom floor, facing his ceiling to floor mirror. I was around ten years old at the time. Blood ran down my face. I could see Gabe standing behind me laughing. I whimpered and tried to scramble away, finding that my body refused to move.

Gabe knelt down, placing his knee into the small of my back. From his back pocket, he pulled a knife. I watched him carefully. The blade was from our kitchen set. It's black handle fit to comfortably in his hand. I tried to squirm out from under him.

"I wouldn't do that," Gabe growled. He moved the blade right next to my face. I ignored what he said, and tried to escape again. He grabbed a handful of hair, keeping my head in one place, and swung the blade down. I screamed. My head fell to the ground.

Looking up, I saw Gabe still holding a handful of hair. Tears freely ran down my cheeks. I shook profusely.

"Next time I won't miss." The scene shifted. I was on my back, looking up a my ex step-father. His hand was wrapped around my throat. He squeezed tightly, yelling at me. He shook a paper with his other fist. Making out a couple words, I could see it was the power bill.

I tried to beg him to let me go. His bleary eyes made it clear he didn't care. He dropped the power bill and swung his fist down onto the side of my face. My head jerked to the side. Gabe lifted me to my feet. Black dots littered my vision.

Once again, I was somewhere new. I didn't recognize what was happening. I saw Leo on the ground, covered in blood. His shoulder was very clearly dislocated. A few feet away, Annabeth laid with a knife sticking out of her chest. Walking around the room, I could clearly see how everyone died. Standing in the middle of the room, I fell to my knees and screamed.

Walking up to me, Gabe started laughing. He was mocking my pain. He was enjoying seeing my reaction. As he approached, he stepped on the bodies of my friends. I could hear their bones snapping. I couldn't stop my sobs.

"This is all your fault," Gabe told me. He stopped right in front of me. "You could have prevented this. You are the one who caused them to meet their end."

"no, no, no, no," I whispered.

"Yes, yes yes," Gabe mocked. "I always told you what would happen if you let anyone near you."

"This wasn't me. This isn't my fault," I sobbed.

"Of course it is. It was your choice to sit with them everyday." Gabe walked around me. "I never made you talk to these people. That was all you."

"No. This... please stop," I begged, covering my ears. I felt Gabe rip my hands away from my head. More gut wrenching sobs shook my body.

"Would you like to know something?" he asked.

"Please, no," I begged.

"You friend Piper. She begged me to kill her. She told me she couldn't stand another minute of pretending to be your friend. Annabeth, she told me that you promised I couldn't hurt her. Jason-"

I tried to block out his voice. I begged him to stop. Gabe continued describing the graphic ways he killed everyone.

"Are you proud of yourself? Not only did you get everyone killed, their last dying thought were of how much they hated you." Gabe laughed. I placed my hands tightly on my ears and screamed.

"Stop it!" I begged. Gabe managed to pull one hand away.

"You're next," he whispered to me. He wrapped his hands around my throat.

I was suddenly back in my room. My own hands were clutching my throat. I broke down sobbing, letting my hands drop to my lap.

"Stop it, please," I asked quietly. There was no one around to hear me. I sat in that position for a while. When I finally composed myself, I was worn out. I tried to turn on my phone, to find it was dead. I plugged it into the charger.

I walked into the bathroom, turning on the sink. I washed my face, helping me calm down. I tried to figure out what had happened earlier. The first to scenes, I remembered from when I was younger. The last one on the other hand. I know for a fact that never happened.

I looked into the mirror. My eyes looked like I had been punched. I shrugged it off and went back to my room. In the living room, I heard Triton and Tyson talking to each other. Over the last couple months, the guest room was cleaned out and converted into my own room. I loved Tyson, but I was glad we no longer shared a room.

If he had walked in on my episode, I would have had to try to explain what had happened. I checked my phone, seeing multiple missed calls from Leo. I decided I would text him later. I had promised I would meet up with them, but I didn't feel up to it. Instead, I sat on my bed and pulled out my homework.

I decided to use school as a way to distract me from my thoughts. I didn't want to try to think about what had caused the random episode. I tried to not think about anything that had to do with Gabe anymore.

It didn't take long for me to fall asleep. I was woken up by Tyson letting me know it was dinner time. While eating, I decided to not tell anyone about what happened earlier. They would worry to much about me, and I didn't want them to.
