Abused Percy Jackson

Chapter 56

Leo's POV:

I woke up to Percy's face buried into my neck. I could hear him snoring softly. I turned my alarm off, knowing we had to get ready for school. I rolled over so that I was facing him, earning a groan from the still sleeping teen. 

"Hey," I said, gently while rubbing his arm to wake him up. After I said his name, I watched Percy's eyes flutter open. I was quickly met with a smile. 

"Goodmorning," he said. I gave him a quick kiss.

"'Morning," I responded. "We have to get up."

"I'm good," Percy said, wrapping his arms around me. I chuckled.

"Come on," I said, rolling out of bed. Percy groaned. I laughed. "School awaits us."

"I don't wanna." Percy buried his face in a pillow.

"Why are you being difficult?" I asked, crossing my arms and sitting back down on the bed. Percy didn't answer, and I suddenly felt like an idiot. "I'm sorry."

Percy shrugged. I sighed, annoyed at myself. I rubbed my hands through his hair. We sat for a few minutes, before Percy moved slightly laying his head in my lap. I heard Mom walking up the stairs. She knocked on the door.

"Come in," I said, my hand still tangled in my boyfriend's hair. She opened the door.

"You almost ready for school?" She noticed Percy and gave me a confused look. 

"Yeah, I just gotta get dressed." Mom nodded and left the room. Percy sat up and looked at me.

"Guess I should get dressed too," he said. I chuckled.

"Maybe," I responded. He gave me a smile. We got dressed quickly, Percy moving to the bathroom to do so. We met back downstairs in the living room.

"You two ready to go?" Mom asked, walking into the room as well. Percy didn't bother hiding his bruising like he usually did. She quickly noticed them. 

"Are you okay?" she asked.

"Yeah," Percy laughed. "I hardly feel anything."

She nodded, still visibly concerned about him. I grabbed his hand and led him out to the car. We both sat in the back seat. Mom got into the front seat and drove us to school. 

"Have a good day," she said as we climbed out. Percy and I walked up the pathway, looking for our friends. I spotted Jason and Piper sitting at a table with Annabeth walking up from the other side.

"Hey," Percy said, taking a seat. Everyone greeted us. I heard people chattering around us. I tried to block them out. Percy noticed. "Hey, it's okay."

"Yeah, like you said. They're just idiots," I said. He nodded.

"There ya go," he said, smiling at me. I smiled back. Everyone was goofing off with each other. Percy was texting someone, my guess was one of his parents. I was scrolling through my phone, just waiting for class to start. 

Percy suggested we head to class early, feeling overwhelmed. I nodded. He gripped my hand as we walked, as if he was trying to not have a panic attack. I rubbed circles on the back of his hand while talking to him, trying to keep him grounded. We took our seats in the back of the classroom. 

"Thank you," he said. 

"It's my pleasure," I said, smiling. Percy returned the small gestured. Every time he smiled, my heart skipped a beat. Now was not an exception. I leaned over and kissed Percy, placing on hand on his thigh to brace myself, and keep me from falling over. My eyes were closed so I didn't see anyone sit in front of us.

"{insert slur for a homosexual male that I am not comfortable saying}" someone coughed. I sighed and looked at them, not to shocked to see Ethan Nakamura.

"Wow, so original," I said sarcastically, while rolling my eyes.

"I wasn't talking to you Valdez, so you can butt out," Ethan responded. I was thoroughly confused, wondering if he even saw me when he made that comment. 

"Um..." Percy said. "You are so much more stupid than I gave you credit for."

I chuckled, covering my mouth. Ethan glared at him.

"At least I'm not the {r-slur} who decided to f*ck his father," he shot back. Without thinking, I shot up and socked Ethan. My fist connected with his nose, and I felt it breaking underneath my knuckled. The force (and probably shock) cause Ethan to fall out of his chair. I shook my hand, not expecting it to hurt that much. 

"Hey!" the teacher shouted as he crossed the room from the doorway. "Mr. Valdez, Mr. Jackson and Mr. Nakamura. Follow me. Now."

I sighed. Percy stood from his seat and we were led towards the front office. Percy had his hand intertwined with mine. Ethan had a handful of tissues held up to his nose to help the bleeding. I could see bruises forming on my knuckled. 

"That was amazing," Percy whispered to me. I smiled at him.

"No talking." Our teacher was fairly mad at us. I'm surprised he hasn't even noticed Ethan wasn't supposed to be in that class. Percy and I chuckled slightly. We reached the office and were forced to wait in the uncomfortable chairs. One by one, we were forced to go talk to the vice principal. 

We each told our side of the story. While our vp came up with a punishment we were all sitting in the chairs. Ethan was looking very upset. Percy and I had already agreed we would at least get detention.

"So, you three," our VP started. "I hope you realize fighting will not be tolerated. However, only one of you will actually be punished."

Ethan smirked. I knew it was going to be me, I mean I am the one who actually threw the punch.

"Leo." Though I was expecting it, I had a mini heart attack. "We will have to call your mother to let her know. Other than that, you and Percy are free to go back to class. Ethan you are suspended for the next two weeks."

I walked out of the office, followed by Percy. We waited a bit before having a mini celebration down the hall. Of course, we did have to head back to class to keep from getting in trouble. 

Yeet skeet. I am tired. I have the next couple days off work xD I'm sorry I didn't post last night. I got up at 8am and ate breakfast and took a shower. School was then from 10am to 3:30pm. I worked on my homework till 6pm (when I started work) and I got off at 10pm. My brain was completely fried. On the bright side, I got paid yesterday lol. 

I decided to not post so that some of you (you know who you are) don't yell at me to "take care of myself".
