Leo POV:

Percy and I ran up to my room. Quickly, my oh so lovely boyfriend laid on my bed spread eagle, forcing me to sit at my desk.

"Ugh, rude," I scoffed, laughing.

"Mmm, you know you love me," he responded.

"I'm starting to doubt it."

"Ahaha sure~" he chuckled. Percy rolled to the side, allowing me to sit next to him on the bed. He grabbed my waist and forced me to lay down next to him. He planted a soft kiss on my nose. "You're amazing."

"I love you," I said. I kissed him softly.

"I thought you were doubting it," he chuckled.

"Oh, shut up." We both let out a small laugh and settled into a comforting silence. After a couple minutes, I heard Percy speak up.

"Are you busy Saturday?"

"No, why?"

"Keep it open then," he smiled.

"Why? What's happening then?"

"A surprise." He gave me his lopsided grin. I couldn't help but smile back. A text tone sounded. Percy pulled out his phone, sighing slightly. "I have to head home."

"Do you need a ride?"

"No, I'll be good. I love you." Percy got up off the bed, planting a kiss on my forehead.

"I love you too," I responded, giving him a proper kiss goodbye.

Amphitrite POV:

I was tired of my family being so disconnected all the time. Of course, I understand they aren't going to want to spend every waking moment with each other. But walking into a room with Triton, Percy or Poseidon was terrible. You felt as if you could cut the tension with a knife.

Percy walked through the door shortly after I had set the table.

"Family dinner?" he asked hesitantly.

"Yep."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?"

I chuckled a bit. "I'm not entirely sure, but I'm kinda tired of everyone acting like they hate each other."

Percy nodded and awkwardly shuffled his feet. Poseidon walked through the door with Tyson in tow. After I sent the other three to get cleaned up for dinner, Triton came in.

Soon everyone was sitting at the table. Silence filled the room. Tyson rocked back and forth in his chair.

"So," Triton started. "Why are we doing this?"

"Because, it's good for us to spend time together," I responded. Tyson smiled and nodded.

Triton sighed. "So...what? We are just gonna sit here in silence? This is a waste of time."

"No. We are gonna talk to each other. Like a family."

"Clearly that's working out well," he muttered under his breath. I sighed. I knew this wasn't going to be amazing right off the bat.

"How about we start by all going around and stating one 'exciting' thing about our day." I could hear the older occupants of the table groan. Tyson wasn't quite old enough to understand the joy of ice breakers.

"Alright Triton, you go first."

"Uhm. I guess...uh...my girlfriend brought lunch for everyone at the shop today..." Triton shrugged.

Honestly, I really thought he was going to just shrug me off and leave. I'm surprised he actually participated.

"Alright Percy, your turn." Triton pointed his fork at his younger brother, who in turn, choked on a bit of food.
