Love You Like The Movies

Chapter 2

She remembered when she was told that she was casted as one of the leads in the drama Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 2 alongside Ah Hyo Seop she was so ecstatic that she really didn't think much about her co lead actor. She was just over the moon to be part of one of her favorite drama and with a powerhouse cast.

The first time she met him was at the hospital where they needed to learn and train from real life surgeons about basic life support and operating room set ups there she finally had a good look at him. He was tall which she was happy about as she liked it when her male leads are much taller than her and he was undeniably very good looking which was typical for new male actors coming in lately. Having heard nothing about him she was impressed by how he was during their training he took things seriously asking questions and participating actively. He also surprised her with another side of him by how good he was during their script reading. She realized that Ahn Hyo Seop was one actor everyone should look out for. 

As the production had started she found something she disliked about him. She thought that he was standoffish and aloof. She had noticed too that he would usually excuse himself to go back to his dressing room or would sit quietly slightly apart from the rest of the group. He was even shying away from her usual approachable and bubbly personality and she was quite irate as nobody had ever done that! Sung Kyung had noticed though that he was rather friendly with  Kim Min Jae as he was the only person besides their sunbaes that he would interact with.  As she was constantly bothered by it she couldn't help but ask Min Jae about it.

"Oh hey Min Jae, I didn't know that you and Hyo Seop are close." She commented casually one day as not to alert him of her unbidden curiosity.

"Ah yes, we've known each other a while back since we're supposed to debut as an idol together. But well opportunities have other plans for us I guess." Min Jae answered shrugging.

She was surprised to hear about this. It seemed that she had barely scratched the surface that was Ahn Hyo Seop.

Her thoughts must have had registered on her face because Min Jae suddenly said, "Oh didn't you know noona? Hyo Seop hyung has a great voice and he plays the violin and piano well too. He's a good dancer also although not as awesome as me." He added winking.

Sung Kyung chuckled and rolled her eyes at Min Jae whom she didn't have problems getting along with unlike his friend who seemed to be wrapped in different layers that kept on surprising her as each layer was peeled off.

Learning these details about him piqued Lee Sung Kyung's interest further. She suddenly found herself reading about the Korean born Canadian boy who tried his luck back on his roots' entertainment industry. She was checking video clips of him on YouTube and other media sites too when she should have been resting. She even watched clips of him as Cha Min in Abyss and Yoo Chan in Still 17. She couldn't help but chuckle at the thought that in a different universe Bok Joo and Yoo Chan would have made a cute couple. She realized that there was more to Ahn Hyo Seop than meets the eye and moreover she was being stalkerish with what she was doing and she should just make an effort to get to know the guy. Afterall in their industry she was considered a Sunbae too wasn't she?
