Chapter 10

The cute little guy is Alpha

"Echo! Echo! Wake up" I heard Alpha shouting.

I groaned "Not right now Alpha" and turned around to my other side trying to fall asleep again.

"But Percy wants to talk to you in the phone" he informed. I opened one eyelid and saw him carrying my phone.

I sat up and took the phone from Alpha "What do you want?" I asked in the phone

"Well good morning to you too" he sarcastically said

"Shut the fuck up and tell me what you want" I sighed

"Okay,okay, sheesh, anyways mom wants you and Alpha to return home now"

I sighed "We'll be there in an hour, bye" I hung up before he could say bye and checked that it was 10:30am. I looked at Alpha "Start packing your stuff up Alpha we leave in an hour" he nodded and left to get his stuff ready. I got out of bed and changed into black skinny jeans and a t-shirt. I headed downstairs and smelled something wonderful. I headed down towards the kitchen and saw Hunter.

Shirtless.

I coughed and he turned around startled, I swear to god I felt my face burn when I saw his abs. I looked him in the face and saw he was blushing as will

"Um, don't you think you should be wearing a shirt?" I blushed

"Uh, yeah your right, I'll be right back" he turned off the stove and left to go get a shirt

I sighed a sigh of relief, I placed my hand to my chest and felt my heart beat rapidly, it couldn't be love, could it?

"Hunter! I'm home," I heard a feminine voice coming from the entrance, then the sound of clicking on the floor. I turned around and saw a lady, who looked like she was in her 40s. She looked at me, shocked, but forced a smile nonetheless. "And may I ask who you are?" She asked

"My name is Echo, it's nice to meet you, um"

"Mrs. Valentine, Hunter's mother" she informed

"Mom?," I turned and saw Hunter, and thankfully he had a shirt on "what are you doing here?"

"Well, my meeting got canceled once I got there, so I decided to return home," she explained "but what is she doing here?"

I looked at Hunter and looked back at her "We have a project together, plus my brother wanted to have a sleepover with your daughter so we stayed here the night" I explained. She glared at me then walked away.

"Um.. I think I have to go," I forced a smile "Alpha! It's time to go"

I heard little steps and saw both Alpha and Rosy. "But why?" He complained

"Cause we have to go, so go grab your stuff" I instructed

He sighed "okay" and left to go get his stuff.

"When will you guys come over again?" Asked Rosy

"I don't know honey," I brushed her hair under her ear. She slumped her shoulders and held her head down, "but I promise we will come back soon"

She smiled "pinky promise"

"Pinky promise" I kissed her forehead and saw Alpha heading towards us and took his hand "well we better get going, thanks for having us over" I looked at Hunter one last time and headed towards the door.

(One day later)

I entered my science classroom to see something that shocked me. I saw Hunter and Ashley kissing. I felt something weird in my heart but decided to ignore it. By the time I sat down to my seat they stopped kissing.

"See you around Hunter" Ashley winked and left, but not before giving me a smug look.

I looked over to Hunter "so you and Ashley huh?" He just nodded in response. I scoffed "I thought we were over with the silent gestures." He didn't say anything "fine, whatever" I rolled my eyes and decided to ignore him the whole period.

Not wanting to see Hunter today I decided to have lunch with Ryan. I looked around the lunch room and saw Ryan with his other buddies and my brother. I snuck up to Ryan while he was talking

"Boo!" I felt him stiffen under my touch and relaxed knowing it was me.

"Hey! That wasn't nice" he said

"Will, when am I ever nice to you" I snickered and sat next to my brother.

"That is very true" he laughed

"Anyways what were you guys talking about?" I asked

"We're planning on going to the beach on wednesday would you like to come?" Ryan responded

"Yea dude I'd love to go to the beach" I shouted

"Oh, can we come as well? " I looked behind me and saw Ace with a smirk and the rest of the crew behind him

"Uhh, do I know you?" Ryan asked

"Umm, Ryan, Percy meet Ace, Zack, Caleb, Danielle, Hunter, and Ashley" I introduced them to each other

"So can we come along?" Ace asked again

"I guess, why not the more the merrier" Ryan smiled and continued eating his food

"So uh Ace why aren't you guys outside where you normally are?" I asked him

"Well you weren't there so I wanted to see where you were" he smiled "so come outside and join us" I looked over to Hunter and saw him and Ashley holding hands why in the hell is this bothering me? I shouldn't give two damns if they're going out with each other

"Sorry Ace I can't I promised Ryan I'd sit with him today" I forced a smile

"You did?" Ryan asked confused and I stomped his foot without anybody noticing before he said anything else "oh right yea I remember now sorry bro" thankfully he found out what I was trying to do and went along with it.

Ace frowned "Oh ok, then I guess I will see you guys at the beach"

"Yea just don't forget we're going on Wednesday since it's a half day" Ryan said

"Ok, I will see ya later Echo" Ace waved and left with his crew

"Ow, do you know that hurt like a bitch" Ryan whined

"Oh get over it you big baby" I stuck my tongue out

"Why did you lie to them?" my brother asked

"Cause right now I'm angry at one of the people at that group" I sighed

"Is it just me or are you having drama for once in your life?" Ryan asked

"I seriously don't know" I groaned

"Will even though I am your brother, I'm definitely not getting involved, but I will interfere if they hurt you" my brother told me

"Thanks bro" I hugged him

"And since I'm such an awesome best friend, I will help you when ever you need help, but only if you give me 100 bucks"

"Ha.ha.ha. very funny Ryan" I rolled my eyes

" I'm kidding, just call me when you need me" he smiled

"Well do"and I hugged him as well.
