Lauren's POV
I woke up in the middle of the night hearing my door shut I looked to my left and the bed was empty again she has been leaving most nights she thinks I don't notice when she does but I sure do
I was getting the feeling she was using again but I didn't want to accuse her of something I have no evidence for and the last time I did she got into an accident
She most likely just went home with her dad I just feel asleep pushing the thought to the back of my head only thinking good things about Camila making me fall asleep again
Camila POV
I have been high everyday since the last time I met with Gabe a month ago I wanted to stop but once I started there was no going back
I was currently going to school I don't know why my grades have been slipping and coach has left me tons of messages telling me I needed to get my ass back on the field since there was a big game was on Friday
I decided I would go today I managed to fell asleep in almost every class being awaken by the bell constantly
After school I walked over to the locker room and changed for practice
Coach was pretty upset I haven't been showing to practice I told him about my leg and I was off the hook he believed me
"Well sorry about that kid just get on the field and you better bring your A game on Friday" he told me signaling for me to join my teammates
I practice as much as I could till I felt like I would pass out if I was out here any longer so I jogged to the couch
"I feel like I'm about to puke" I told him holding my stomach playing the part
"Go ahead and go home get some rest I want you here on Friday now go" he told me raising his attention back on my teammates who were still practicing
Once I change back into my regular clothes I walked home then started to crave the drug I hadn't had since last night
As soon as I got home I went into my bathroom and injected my arm with the foggy liquid feeling the drug take over my body I stood up and laid on my bed feeling my eyes get extremely heavy and before I knew it I was asleep
Lauren POV
It was now 6 o'clock and I was going to be late for the appointment with the doctor because I've been trying to get ahold of Camila
My brother then walked into the house looking sweaty
"What's up Laur" he said grabbing an apple off the table and taking a bit
"Have you seen Camila" I asked him
"Ughh yeah she was at practice but she left kind early I think she felt sick" he told me continuing to eat the apple
"Okay thanks Chris" I told him as he went upstairs
I guess I'm doing this alone I though to myself as I got in my car driving to the doctor
Camila POV
"Fuck" I said as I woke up on the lawn of Derek's place
I seen his cousin start to come out the house
"What are you doing Camila" she asked me helping me up
"I don't know to be honest" I told her truthfully not remembering how I got here
"Well are you okay" she asked
"Yeah I'm good" I told her fixing my long sleeve shirt and pants
"You don't seem okay wanna come in" she asked me
"Not if Derek isn't there" I said as a tear fell down my face
"I miss him too Camila but he left some stuff for you" she told me peaking my interest
"really" I asked her
"Yeah he basically said anything that was in that room was yours and he left you the camero and corvette in the will" I remember when we made our will for fun I jokingly told him let me have the cars I can't believe he actually put me in it
We walked into the house I looked around since it was a bit different then what I remember but it has been months since I been here
We got to the room and I just watched the door leading to the room I made the happiest memories in
I walked in it felt empty and dull there was no more musics or flashing lights to walk into just a black room with a couch In the middle i turned the light on and walked in
It had been so long since I was here the room was slightly different I went to the dressed he had full of drugs but this time it was empty just one baggie of heroin I believe
I looked around reminiscing of all the good time and laughs we shared here he was there for me when nobody else was and I will never forget that
"Well it was great being here and seeing this place but I really got to go I'll take the cars some other time" I told her going down the stairs and out the front door as tears fell from my face I walked home and all I could this about is Derek he never left my mind everything reminded me of him
When I got home I did my routine of locking the door and sticking the needle in my arm to rid me of this pain I feel inside
