Peyton POV

My friends and I decided to go to the movie theatre to try out the new video games that just got shipped. We all drove in my car, and when we arrived, we even got to see the shipping truck. The workers were loading the new arcade games into the theatre.

As we were heading inside the arcade, following after the shipping workers, I could have sworn I saw Rowan in the corner of my eye. I guess I was just afraid to look. Wait, me, afraid, to look at Rowan? Why would I be afraid to look at her? I guess I'll just tell myself I was too busy with my friends to look at her.

The arcade seemed...bigger, than I remember. Huh, weird. I leaned my back to the wall, as I watched the guys drop the arcade games onto the floor, with a THUMP! Maybe I should help them load the rest. So I did.

I walked up to the shippers and asked, "Hey, do you guys need any help, loading?"

"Sure, kid." The oldest guy looked at me and smiled. I couldn't help but smile back. I love to help people, and make them happy.

I picked up the last arcade game, and set it onto a dolly. I pushed the dolly into the theatre, watching out for people along the way. The arcade started filling with more and more people, I tried to push my way through the crowd, set the game into the floor, and let the workers plug it in. The guys nodded to me and left the arcade, and theatre. I looked around the unusually large arcade, trying to find a game to pick.

I put my hands in my pockets, while walking around the arcade, watching my best buds having a blast killing zombies. I played with a coin in my pocket, flipping it over, and over.

"Hey, want to give it a try?" Joey asked.

"Sure," I smiled.

Taking the gun, I looked at the screen, and grabbed the coin from my pocket, crouched to the floor, and slid the silver 25 cent coin into the machine. I pressed play, and a wave of zombies started pilling on top of my avatar. The gun went off in all sorts of directions, hitting zombie's heads, arms, stomachs, and legs. I killed all zombies, but this boss one. I took a deep breath, lifted the gun to my head, letting it rest on top of my shoulder. I could feel the stares of people watching me, and I waited for the enormous zombie to strike first, but it didn't. I slowly pushed the trigger with my finger, and...Boom! The zombie got struck right in the head, causing him to fall backwards.

"Dude," Joey patted me on the back. "You just beat the high score!" He smiled.

I smiled back, and gave him and Jonathan a high-five.

Cheers and shouts were heard from all around the arcade, congratulating me for beating the high score. I smiled at the though of that.

2 hours past, and I had to use the restroom. I walked inside, pushing the door slowly. Every urinal was taken, so I just went into an empty stall.

When I was done, I walked up to a sink, put my hands in, the sensor sensed it, and the warm water poured onto my hands. I let foamy soap drop from the soap dispenser, when I think I saw a brunette girl just walk in. Wait, this is the boys restroom. The girl seemed to not be moving, I didn't want to embarrass her, so I decided not to look directly at her. But in the corner of my eye, I think I recognize that girl. Rowan?

My hands are clean, so I went up to the air dryer, and started to dry my hands. I was facing the opposite way of Rowan, so that I couldn't see her.

Was she not moving because I make her nervous. Why would I make Rowan nervous? We're like best friends/brother and sister. We shouldn't be making each other nervous. Should we?

I turned around once my hands were fully dried, and caught a glimpse of someone dragging Rowan out of the restroom. I couldn't help but chuckle at that. She needed help getting dragged out of the restroom, because Rowan was too scared to move, because of me.
