Incident resolution rate, contributions to society, public approval rating: all these factors matter when determining the biannual Hero rankings. The ones who reach the upper rankings are those who preserve the peace and keep smiling.
"Make sure to call me when you're done, alright?" her teacher checked, the girl nodding as she gave him a tight smile. He seemed to notice this as he clutched her shoulder tightly, lightly nudging her to the building. He watched as she disappeared into the hall, sighing as he drove back to the school and turned on the Live TV, where they were broadcasting it live.
"Hurry up and turn it on!" yelled Kaminari, "what the hell was that all about yesterday?!"

"Number 10! She used to be in 9th, but she fell back a spot: The Dragon Hero, Ryuuku!"
"Number 9! Another one who fell: The Equipped Hero, Yorai Musha!"
"Number 8! You know him from those 'Clean 'n' Shiny' commercials: The Laundry Hero, Wash!"
"Number 7! A great leap forward for this upand-comer: Kamui Woods!"
"Number 6! Rock steady as ever, this orthodox Hero is the ony one in this crew who has maintained their rank: The Shield Hero, Crust!"
"Number 5! The unyielding bunny bumped up in the rankings: The Rabbit Hero, Mirko!"
"Number 4! The mysterious shinobi whose incident resolution rate and support are skyrocketing: The Ninja Hero: Edgeshot!"
"We have a tie for Number 3! First, though he's taking time off, with a higher support rate than anyone: The Fibre Hero, Best Jeanist! And now, the second person ever to make Top 10 as a teenager to be in the Billboard, she's flown down from U.A. High to join us: The Soaring Hero, Falcon!"
She sighed, turning her head to the side as she smiled awkwardly, her brother sending her a large grin.
"Do they... really need to be making this much of a fuss about it?" she muttered.
"Number 2! He always does things his own way, but with fierce momentum, he's made it to second place: The Winged Hero, Hawks!"
"Aww, liven up, Fal~" he smirked smugly, "this doesn't come that often~"
"And finally! This guy's been on top for a while now, but today's when we make it official. He's waited a long time to claim the throne and become the Number 1 Hero: give it up for the Flame Hero, Endeavor!"
The crowd roared with cheers and excited whispers for the new Top 10, more specifically for the still-high school student. She sighed, her hands behind her head as her wings folded in.
"This is embarrassing..."
"You'll get used to it, Fal," her brother grinned. He turned to Endeavor. "Psst," whispered the man, his sister sending him a curious look, "how's it feel to be on top?"
