My week went by pretty uneventful. Work, night classes, home, sleep, and same the next day. What I didn't realise was the whole time I was being watched. My every move and not by some random Mafia or Gang. By Alex's, he was planning to get me back anyway he could and if that meant kidnapping me he would do it. I was on my way home when I noticed a peculiar van sitting in front of the condo complex. I'm black so guess what I'm gone mind my damn business. That's an obvious sucker move.
When I got into the building no one was in sight except for a security guard I had never seen before. He tipped his hat and winked at me causing me to draw my face up in disgust.
"Why can't guys be normal and just say hi?" I asked myself.
I got on the elevator and pressed my floor. It took forever like always so I occupied my time with my phone. Sending a text to a friend who was expecting me for dinner later.
The elevator beeped and I got off making my way to my apartment when I bumped into someone. My phone fell face first on the floor and I nearly cried. I bent down picking it up and turning it over hoping it wasn't cracked. But just like my life nothing was going my way. I had just swapped phones and got an Iphone 7 plus two days ago and low and behold today its cracked.
"Fuck my life." I said standing up and walking off to my apartment but who ever I bumped into grabbed my arm and stopped me.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"I'm fine, now could you let me go!" I said loudly. He held on to my arm tighter and squeezed it.
"I was just trying to see if you were okay you crazy black bitch." He said snatching his hand from my arm.
"And the crazy black bitch told you she was fine. So back the fuck off before this crazy black bitch fuck you up over the phone you just fucking cracked." I said seething.
"Are you threatening me?" He asked clearly not offended at all.
"Not a threat a promise." I said glaring at him and walking off to my apartment. I grabbed my keys from my jacket pocket and unlocked the door slamming it behind me. I went straight to my room throwing my purse on the bed and examining my phone. I was fucked the screen was completely white which meant no phone.
I flopped back on the bed rubbing my hands over my face in frustration.
"Why me?!!" I yelled to no one at all.
After a few minutes of complete silence and me sulking in my pity I got up to get ready for dinner. I walked in my bathroom not bothering to close the door. I got undressed and turned on the shower warming it up. I put my hair up in a sloppy bun and got in. I picked up my strawberry scented Summers Eve and did what I had to do. I got out of the shower grabbing a towel and wrapping it around my body. I walked into my room and into my closet looking for an outfit or a dress. I found the perfect one and layed it on my bed. I went back in my closet finding the perfect stelletos and clutch coming out with them and sitting them on the bed too.
I set at my mirror in my room and started on my hair. Giving it a short thick curl look. I put on light makeup and bright red lipstick. I put on a strapless bra and slipped on my dress. You might be thinking why didn't she put on underwear. The answer to that is this isn't an underwear kind of dress. I rubbed lotion on my legs and feet and put on a little body glitter. I looked at the time and I had 5 minutes to be out the door I swapped some stuff from my purse to my clutch and grabbed my broken phone too. I slipped on the heels and made my way to the door. I walked out locking it behind me. I got on the elevator and made it to the lobby in no time. That same security guard was sitting there and the guy who bumped into me earlier. They looked up at me both of them looking at me as if I was a piece of meat. I rolled my eyes and kept walking to the door. The security guard hopped up and pushed the door open looking me up and down. He smiled when he met my face and I returned a fake one. I walked out to my car got in and pulled off. I was so glad I had some type of phone now because of this car. I called Crystal letting her know I was on my way. I put in my K Michelle CD and played my favorite song Love 'Em All.
