An ancient civilisation that once prospered among the stars knew that the temptation of the infinity stones and their power would be a danger as long as the light at the centre of the universe was burning so out of fear they created Gaia using the power of the stones making her the beating heart of all life in the universe.
Gaia inherited immortality, incredible strength and almost endless stamina once she was created, her entire reason for being alive was to serve and protect the known universe from anyone who wished to use the power of the infinity stones with sinister or cruel intent. Her heart beat so she could keep the hearts of the universe beating. She was a warrior with the heart of a mother and after the planet, her civilisation was from was swallowed by an exploding sun she was sent into the endless cosmos to fulfil her duty to protect.
As Thanos' power grows and his collection of the stones increases the desperate Warrior is forced to fight alongside superheroes to try and stop the titan from wiping out half of all life and failing her mission to protect.
