Maddie's P.O.V.

"Maddie-" Luke's desperate voice fills my ears, making me cringe.

"What do you want, Luke?" I groan, trying to push back my tears. "Please, you must have seen the picture-" I cut him off again, "I don't want to hear it. Not again." I think back to the first time we broke up.

We walk into the big house and see our group. I hug everyone and smile. "Want a drink?" James asks us. We all nod and they come back with red solo cups and two bottles of stuff.

After about ten minutes all of us have had two drinks at the most. "I'll be right back babe." Luke says and walks off, leaving me with Jai, James and Beau. The rest of them had gone off to party or have sex. 

"Is this your first time drinking?" James asks. I nod and take another sip of the foul smelling liquid. "How is it?"

"Terrible." I say making them laugh. After twenty minutes i start to get anxious. Where is Luke? I look around the crowded room, hoping to see the tall, blonde boy.

My eyes finally spot him.

But where he is is what surprises me. He is under a bleach blonde girl. Holding her tightly. Kissing her. Grabbing her junk. I drop my empty cup and gasp. What...

The three boys' eyes follow the direction i'm looking and they see Luke. "Fuck..." Beau mumbles. "That son of a b-" Jai starts. I put my hand on his chest and look up at him with tears in my eyes. "I'll handle this.. But can you come with?" I question. He nods and cracks his knuckles, following me through the people.

"Luke! What the hell are you doing?" I ask as i pull him away from the blonde. Her dress is so far down i can see her bra and her dress is so short i can see her bright pink underwear. His eyes are bloodshot and his hair is messy. "How much have you had to drink?" I ask.

"Three.. Maybe five?" He stumbles. 

"What were you doing with her?" I cry.

He blinks a few times, "What?"

"You were kissing that girl!" I exclaim and throw my arms up. I don't care if people are looking at me. He is breaking my heart. "We she is better looking than you." Luke states and grabs ahold of her waist like he did with mine earlier that night. "Wh-What? I can't fucking believe you!" I yell and shove him.

Jai looks at me sympathetically. People start to stop and stare. Go ahead, watch. See how much he fucked up.

"I can't believe you right now..." I lower my voice from a shout. "I give myself to you and fall in love with you and you-you just make out with this skank!" I yell and gesture to the whore.

"Maybe you shouldn't have thrown yourself at me!" He slurs. I take a step back as if he had hit me. Is that what it was like for him? Me throwing myself at him. "Plus, i bet Shelby is a better fuck than you." Luke says and gets shoved to the ground by Jai. I don't even stop him.

I just cover my face and try not to cry. How could he? 

The last time is a lot worse than this.. but he promised he would never do it again. "Luke, I can't do this anymore okay? I love you.." I mumble and take a deep breath, "But this has to end. We have to end." I wipe the tears from my eyes and take the phone away from my ear and hang up before he can say anything more to hurt me.

Luke's P.O.V.

"But this has to end. We have to end."

The words cut through me like sharp, unforgiving knives. The air is knocked out of my lungs and I feel the walls closing in on me. Why am I such an idiot. It wasn't my fault. I should have talked to her when it happened. I throw my phone across the room and fall back onto the bed.

I remember how in love we were, how much we cared for each other. I promised her so many things and I broke most of those promises.

I remember the first time I met her..

"Guys, let's make this quick before she comes back down stairs... You three keep it in your pants. Maddie is off limits to all of you. She can't have her heart broken by any of you." Ashton says with a stern face. 

"Why not?" Michael asks. "I don't like her, i'm just wondering." He quickly says. 

"Because i know how you three are. You always have girlfriends and then break up with them a week later. Especially Luke after Alisha broke up with him." Ash replies. "Don't talk about her." I mumble.

"Okay, sorry. But stay away from Maddie. She is too good for all of you." 

"Now go get her, we're putting on a movie." Ashton demands and i stand up. "Okay." I run up the stairs and look around. Where could she be? Suddenly Maddie runs right into me, knocking us both over. "Well hello there." I smile from underneath her. She laughs and helps me up. "I'm so sorry!"

"It's fine, Maddie. I was coming to get you anyways. We're putting on a movie." I say and pull her with me.

If only I had stayed away.. We wouldn't be hurt right now.. I wouldn't have hurt the love of my life... I roll over to the side of my bed and reach in between the small space under the bedframe. My fingers graze across a small box and I close my eyes.
