Temari threaded through the forest, a sword in hand she had formed from her metal manipulation. She slashed down branches that obscured her vision, trying to follow the trail that lead to, hopefully, one of Kanako's many hideouts.

"Any luck?" The earpiece in her left ear buzzed to life.
"Just trees" She grunted, hands fatigued from the continuous slashing and legs wobbling from the long trek.

"How is the sky" she asked the mab on the other line.
"All I see is a dense forest. No clearing and no building." Hawks answered. Ariel view is unfortunately not yielding ant results.

"Tint, how is the east?"

"Same." She sighed, just as exhausted as the red head. "My search is looking almost fruitless"

"Let's not loose hope just yet. Wave, how is west?" She comforted, trying to show optimism towards her teammate.

"Fucking empty!" She barked. Simultaneously, all three heroes winced at the volume. " I don't see any light after the tunnel you sure this Intel guy isn't pulling our feathers. All puns intended, Hawks "

Hawks chuckled softly and she swore she could gear Tint roll her eyes.
"He went through a...stressful interrogation. I don't think he'd lie." Temari pursed her lips after that. Wave's words becoming a bit possible.

The four had been surveying the land for hours now, yet no progress had been made. After Light's interrogation that Thursday, it was found that the last siteing of Kanako's lab was in the forest: Nakamura labyrinth. A thick forest stretching the boarders of Kyushu and the next district, Otoyo. It was postponed to two whole weeks after due to Hawks ' busy schedule.

They had begun their search in the morning and now the day sun was high up in the air signifying late afternoon.
'Lucy must have paid for herself again. She's going to kill me' Temari thought with a wince.

"Well we're reaching a 'the more you look, the less you see' point" Tint managed to say over her loud pants.
"Well what now, leader?"

The spite she used to pronounce just one word was overwhelming.
The line was silent for a while.

"Keep searching" she ordered. She was more than desperate to find a lead. They were already two weeks late on information and she was hell bent on finalizing it.
"Let's give it a few more turns- ah!"
Her words were cut off when the ground she stood in suddenly gave way.
She plummeted deeper into the seemingly bottomless pit, skin scraping the further she got.
After what felt like minutes of falling, she landed on concrete.
Her hard fall knocked the wind out her chest, ankle twist in an unfamiliar pattern.
She groaned in pain, gnashing her teeth as she tried to sit up.
She blinked multiple times trying to rid them of the dirt it had accumulated and adjust to the pitch black darkness surrounding her.

She reached for her belt, grabbing the battery powered torchlight and switching it on.
The gadget did its function and lit in the dark, which turned our to be a long tunnel leading to who knows where.

"Hey, I think I found something" Temari spoke into her mic. No one replied. "Anyone?" She spoke again, the line remained silent.
The tunnel blocked the connection.
"Guess I'm on my own" Her cyan eyes flickered to view her surroundings, limping in one foot to avoid putting pressure of her most  likely dislocated ankle.

She limped further into tunnel, the sound of water dripping nearly intoxicating. A large gate blocked her path.
'Locked' she noted. She moved her hands to create an axe but nothing happened. Only then did she realize she had already used her metal manipulation quirk to form a sword and therefore leaving her unable to make any thing else for another 24 hours.
